Jeez ya youre kinda right. His hair does look weird in the Avengers and his beard looked better in Thor

Yeah, they darkened his eyebrows and beard for some reason. Make him look less like Kenneth Branagh maybe ? lol

Sooo, No trailer apart from the cutdown one?
Looks like it. It's still weird, like everyone's noticed, for Paramount to release it's recent movie's ending (Cap) & then show just a little part of The Avengers teaser, to which Disney has all rights. I mean it's bizarre & wrong, if you ask me.

Why Yahoo & Paramount guys decided to cut the teaser in half isn't understandable, nor logical.

So....does anyone know what fully goes down in that Agent Coulson short? Why is Abomination involved?

From what I've heard, it sounds like Shield wanted to add Abomination to the Avengers by asking General Ross if they can have him, but Coulson somehow knows better and wants the General to turn down this offer. He's decided to do this by sending someone annoying to ask Ross for this favor so that it's almost assured that he will deny the request. This is apparently what Stark's talk with Ross was about at the end of TIH.

Why is Paramount's logo on the Poster and website?

Oh well not gonna break the movie in any way for me

You guys really going to compare the color contrast BEFORE post-production is done?

.... and it still makes ZERO sense. Why would Fury want a maniac like Blonsy/Abomination? Hulk proved himself far more worthy at the end of TIH.

Unless of course Fury has some alterior motive. I always did find the end-credits scene in Thor to be interesting from that perspective.

I can see why fury would want blonsky, not only superhumanly strong and durable, but military trained as well.
Fury seeing that maybe blonsky could be controlled and seeing hulk as a fugitive.

Blonsky proved himself to be unworthy. He was a power hungry maniac. He went on a tirade killing innocent people. How could he be controlled and why would you ever put him in a power position?

Makes no sense.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion of it making no sense, fury obviously see something in blonsky that made him want to try and recruit him.

Recruiting Blonsky doesn't seem to be a very smart call by Fury but on the other hand it's Fury and you should always be wondering what a guy like that is up to. I trust it'll be made more clear in the future.

Exactly, that's why coulson defies fury and makes sure blonsky doesn't get recruited.
With fury, there's no telling how far he would go when it comes to protecting earth, so attempting to recruit a villain isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I'm just going off this "Fury wants Blonsky/Abomination" agenda that people are bringing up in here.
Blonsky was/is a highly trained soldier with incredible power. I can see why Fury is interested in him. You just have to know how to control him

That's why I was saying the cube scene at the end of Thor is actually pretty interesting. There was something peculiar about the way Fury mentioned the cube's unlimited power.

They already have a super soldier in Cap.

.... and how do you propose "controlling" him?

The only way this works is if Fury has bad agendas.

I took that as him meaning technology can run off of a power source that wouldn't run out, meaning we would be living in an energy efficient world that doesn't run on dwindling natural resources. This would also push the advancement in technology.
