(I have to admit -- part of me just likes the idea of Coulson as a quietly kick-ass SHIELD agent, but part of me has been wondering if he could turn out to be Mar-Vell. Here's a question -- in the MCU, what are the chances that they'd be willing to change things up enough so that the *original* Mar-Vell is female? Such as Maria Hill or Sharon Carter?)

Needs to be the final shot of the trailer. Music Stops, You see Thor in a Battle Stance facing the camera tightening his grip on Mjolnir. Camera Pulls Back till you see the back of an enormous Green hand (still seeing Thor in the shot though) cut to black for a second (to invoke a quick "Holy S**t! It's Hulk!!" Moment). Then cut to Hulk facing the camera Roaring and Flexing in all his Glory

End Trailer. That is All

Regarding Marvel Studios regaining the rights to Fantastic Four, I want it to happen just because I want to see Cap and the new Torch share a scene together.

It should have Thor using Mjolnir to summon a bolt of lightning to hit something then the thing that's just been hit starts moving, a bunch of debris that was ontop of it starts falling off until you seen Hulk's angry face, Thor will say something like 'By the Gods!' then Hulk lunges at the camera with a yell and it it all goes black.

And there's one guy who is really responsible for all these "great" movies for Fox: Bryan Singer. Take him out of the equation and there'd be no good Marvel superhero movies from Fox. Marvel has done their movies with multiple directors, which shown that they are integral in providing some consistency and they didn't just get lucky with one director like Fox does with Singer and WB does with Chris Nolan.

and that's also ignoring the fact that singer strayed GREATLY from the comics. The maid "idea" and "story" is the same for the most part, but the characters (a hugely important part) for the most part differ very greatly from there comic counterparts.

Also... just so everyone knows.... x-men did not jumpstart the genre... everyone knows that was Blade. If you want to be technical.

I think it was a combination of Blade, X-Men & Spider-man. Since then I also think Iron Man & The Dark Knight have given a huge resuscitation shot to a genre that was losing quality. Hopefully Avengers itself can be a jumpstart to a wide & respected Marvel Universe. If Avengers fails the MU will be in serious trouble. If it makes silly money the next decade is going to be crazy.

i'm just really thrilled with the potential of what all could happen in an avenger's trilogy. the avengers films i think should always usher in the ending to the MCU's "phases" Phase 1 ends with avengers, phase 2 ends with it's sequel, and phase 3 ends with avengers 3...

now.. avengers 3 i'd suspect to happen in 8-10 years, and can you imagine what all could be developed within the next 8-10 years from marvel?

Civil War is what got me into comics... Its one of my favorite if not my favorite storyline

I can understand you liking it if it was your first experience with Marvel Comics.

But as a long time reader, I thought it was horrible. Painful even. Pretty much every single character was written out of character and changed just to fit the story. Instead of writing the story to fit the characters and allow them natural development.

If you gotta write characters out of character just so your story makes sense you've done a ****** job. Don't get me wrong I like some of Millar's stuff. But only when he is doing out of continuity stories.
