Why are people talking about Civil War? Civil War was a steaming pile. If we're gonna adapt some big time events, let's adapt some good ones kaaaaay?

Fingers definitely crossed. Imagine Doom or Annihilus or Galactus in the hands of people who care as much about getting it right as they do with making fat bags full of cash. :awesome:

Exactly, I mean don't get me wrong Marvel cares about earning money too, but in their movies I feel you can see a genuine concern for the way the characters are portrayed, and nobody is going to know their characters the way they do for sure.

The action scenes are pretty intense)

Same here. We know that Fox will never give up X-Men, and they're going to take another chance with Daredevil, so why keep FF as well? They should just focus their resource on DD and let FF go back to Marvel, because as First Class has shown, superhero movies can be great but still do solid if unspectacular business at the box office. And FF can offer so much to the MCU (with Reed, Negative Zone, Skrulls, and Dr. Doom) that it's a no-brainer.

Oh, and it's great to see Favreau on the set of the Avengers.

Blah, daredevil isn't happening. Fox has done an. Extremely poor mans job at disscussing anything about the film for over a year aside from simple twitter tweets..... that's so unlike fox, and sounds like nothing more than a complete ruse to try to clutch on to rights. If it were happening it would have been announced or disscussed this year at comic con.

The "FOX makes bad CBMs" argument is dead & Marvel Studios has gotten sloppy. The very rushed X-Men: First Class was the best CBM this summer & in the last 3 years. Marvel was too worried setting up Avengers to give us Cap & Thor movies at the level of First Class or an Iron Man sequel at the level of X2. As far as I'm concerned, FOX has a better track record with their movies & while most of it is probably thanks to Bryan Singer, they're still FOX movies nonetheless. Marvel's ace was Iron Man & we are yet to see something as good. For me, Feige is more concerned with cash than quality. He gives the fans what they want in staying close to the comic but then delivers an inferior product with no apologies. I prefer quality to accuracy.

thats your opinion. FC was good but it seriously ****ed up a lot of things comic wise. I still enjoyed Thor, Cap, TIH and IM more than FC.

I'm not really sure what to make of this other than to say to each their own. I just can't see how you can make this statement based soley upon XM:FC (which I have not seen yet). It's one movie following a string of movies that ranged from bad (XO:W) to silly (both F4 movies). Each movie put out by Marvel has been quality and true to each character.

Are you sure about that? Let's rehash foxes track record...

Great Films:
X-men
X2
X-men first class

Mediocre to complete bombs:
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four rotss
Daredevil (not counting the directors cut, only theatrical release)
X-men 3
X-men origins: wolverine
Elektra

So sorry... 3 great x-men films and 6 "blah" films... is not a good track record.

Wait What?!?!?! NO thats your opinion my friend yours for the record I watched X-men First class while it is good I had no desire to watch it more than once it has no replay value in my eyes and def not better than Thor or Cap To me both of which ive watched more than 4 times lol

This is the guy who claims his brother's opinions are representative of the entire GA, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. He makes these outrageous posts and then spams the thread with a bunch of ******** replies. You should ask him if he's read the script.

IM2, Thor & Cap are not quality movies. They're just good popcorn movies. I love the characters - so I enjoyed the movies. But ask a person that doesn't care about the characters, how they felt, & the last thing you'll hear is that they're quality films. X2, X-Men: First Class & X-Men (the one that launched this genre) on the other hand are considered great movies by fans & non-fans alike. I'll take a film that advances the genre any day (First Class) over one that whilst entertaining is just by-the-numbers (Cap). I'm really hoping that with The Avengers (and Joss Whedon) we can get a return to quality from Marvel Studios.

Fox have made quite a few awful comic films now. How many of Marvel's films could you call awful? What you're saying is minority opinion but you try and make it sound like a fact.

Nice.

Again, this is your opinion, one that seems to be in the extreme minority. XM and X2 are good films, but I fear that both are really approaching the level of being overrated. I would not consider XM any better than Thor and X2 for all of its praise still has some flaws. I haven't seen XM:FC but I'm sure I'll enjoy it when I do, but that doesn't mean that I will cease to be nervous about Marvel's Fox-held properties.

LOL at ask any one who doesnt care about the movie ...so uve asked everybody im guessing

Yeah, what he said.

I know Im in the minority, but X-men 2 is easily the most overrated comic book movie there is. its just another wolverine movie. X-men FC walks all over it. I totally expect the Avengers to take the title for best ensemble superhero movie next year in the eyes of most people.
