There must be tiny differences between these concepts and the actual helicarrier because both this concept and the last one you posted Marvel Freshman match the one on the master one-sheet released during comic-con.

Hmm, strange this thread started with those pics, that I posted last week. But yeah, the guy who made those told me they were made early on; before there was even a script. And hes says they're not going with his design. But like Gmanca says, they do resemble the sheet released during SDCC. And everything on that sheet is said to be as close to the final product as possible.

Maybe they'll reveal a multi-poster villains banner at d-23!!! with loki and skrull.chitauri! (lol two posters.) , or maybe for avengers 2, if ever they do masters of evil, then they can make a multiposter sheet with Justin Hammer Sr, Abomb, Red Skull, Loki and enchantress, etc etc

They should since they skipped SDCC in favor of D23. It wouldn't make much sense to do that if they didn't plan to release more info about The Avengers. It's Marvel's only film for 2012 so they should be ready to hype the hell out of it.

Personally, I hope that they keep us guessing about the identity of the "aliens" up until the last minute. Speculating about it is fun and keeps up interest. In contrast, fans got somewhat frustrated with Superman: MOS as soon as they heard that Zod and Faora would once again be the villains. Maintaining an aura of mystery for a while would have helped, IMO.

I'm wondering how they will all react to Thor's presence... will they take it in stride that there's a god in their midst? Just from the teaser Thor already looks annoyed with Tony... he had that "This mortal dares?" look on his face.

I just hope they address why The Avengers don't team up in every movie near the end of the movie.

Because they're too busy with their own problems to be teaming up? The individual films are supposed to be occuring at more or less the same time.

I think they will probably take the Ultimates route, where other members were skeptical about Thor's true origin until the end. It will be the best way to "ease" the Avengers into accepting an Asgardian god as part of their team.
