I like how the way each Avenger exits the film (thus moving on for their own solo adventures) fits their style.

Steve leaves off riding a vintage motorcycle.

Tony Leaves by driving off in one of his custom made Ferraris

Bruce Banner leaves with a travel bag; most likely continuing off on his own "I walk alone" journey; similar to the TV version.

Thor leaves alongside of Loki and heads back to Asgard in a ray of light.

Black Widow and Hawkeye most likely leave in SHIELD assigned vehicles.

It was actually an Acura concept car. :)

Cool; thanks for the info!

While there's certain to be a lot of memorable moments present in the film, what I'm really looking forward towards seeing the most right now is the scene featuring Thor and Captain America teaming up to take on the aliens.

Hell, it looked more badass than a lot of comic book films in whole that I've seen in the past, and that's just based on the perspective of someone filming it from afar without special effects.

I hope Thor & Loki don't happily go to Asgard together. I'd like Loki's fate to be similar to Dr. Doom's in the first MUA game. You hear Odin's booming voice & he banishes Loki to god knows where. (Pun intended? :oldrazz:)

i think in the end, Loki shall turn to good and help The Avengers defeat that unknow alien force, and then when Loki and Thor go back to Asgrard, they see a Realm which has been destroyed horriblly, and then, Boom, there come Thor 2, start shooting next year :D

i guess this week is called the 'no avengers news' week

That's not such a bad thing. I want to keep visiting this forum, but don't want to get too many spoilers.

I am wondering whether to stay out of the Avengers section soon though. :csad:

i just need a trailer release date..and i would be fine

That is possible. Loki has helped his brother and co when in dire need a few times before. Maybe he realises his love for his brother outweighs his hate.

What has been said so far about the script? Harry Knowles from AICN posted what he knew about it but has anyone else who has read it, or who knew someone who has read it, said anything?

Obviously I'm referring to people not too directly involved with the project.

I would rather we find out that the attack on Midgard was but the first stage in his depraved scheme. :woot:

I guess I'm good with the idea of them going off on their seperate ways at the end. Each member giving out hand shakes, then slowly heading off. Kind of like the ending of Ocean's Eleven. There was a sense of accomplishment and a win, that's something I really want shown after their first mission together. Something like "we did it, and as a team. We put aside our differences and kicked some ass together."

I may just cry at the end of the avengers. :p

I assume you are refering to the picture showing both Banner and Stark driving off together in the Acura, but since it is spy photo it is impossible to know if this is between takes or if it is actually part of the film. What herolee10 was refering to was a video showing Black Widow handing Banner a bag that she pulled out of a shield car, which Banner took turned and walked away, as if he was going his own way. Not sure if the two scenes will be connected (takes the bag Black Widow got from the shield vehicle and throws it in the back of Starks car) or if one part was for the film and the other was them messing around. I guess we will have to wait and see to know for sure.

Yeah, I am good with the heroes going off in their own directions and the way it seems to be presented. However, I am still having difficulty with how Loki seems to be presented in the end. I mean sure he is a master of manipulation, but I just can't think of a good enough scenario where the heroes could just forgive him for all the destruction and most likely even human death he has caused. Because if he hasn't bamboozled The Avengers with some kind of ultimate mind bending story as to why he should be trusted, then I really think he should be returning to Asgard against his will and in restraints. Otherwise I think the ending will seem much less dramatic. So, still hoping they have some awesome explanation and he plays the Avengers like his puppets in the end, but I do feel a little concerned. I guess we will see.

It might be cool if they do indeed go with Loki returning willingly or seems to have turned good, that as soon as he and Thor get to Asgard we realize it was a trick and all part of his plan and immediately gets the better of Thor in some way.

It's possible that Loki's powers may have been bound and restrained due to the usage of the cosmic cube or something to that effect and that the Avengers have agreed that given Loki's case, he should be tried for his crimes through Asgard's procedures instead.

Yeah, it would be cool if we find out that whatever the outcome of the alien invasion or whatever was actually supposed to happen, and part of a deal Loki made with another party of the 9 realms.. Thanos or someone, perhaps. The whole Alien Invasion could have been a huge distraction for some other purpose Loki had on Midgard, or indeed could have been the purpose, removing these aliens who were a threat to someone else.

If that's in the movie, I hope that Stark drops him off somewhere so that Banner can walk a lonely road by himself with his duffle bag and the lonely man theme can start playing. That theme doesn't work so well when he's being driven in a fancy car and has someone beside him.

Also, in TIH, they played that theme in the wrong scene. It shouldn't have been when Banner was sitting around being mistaken for a homeless person, but should have been played when he was walking along that bridge at night by himself in the rain and then Betty pulled up alongside him. That would've been the perfect place. How could they get that wrong?

I found this on Youtube, and I thought it was pretty good to watch in regards to "The Avengers"; though the good parts don't start until the 1:15 Mark.
