If this has been posted already, my apologies:

Edit: I was wrong as it was even cooler, being a different version of adapting the EMH theme to the live footage than the one I thought it was.

First time I've seen it. That's pretty good. I'm still not a fan of the EMH's music though, but it's mainly for kids so what do you expect?

Well it's not like they played with the idea of super strength in First Avenger. That film is full of enemy soldiers flying a lot further than they should even if the strongest man hit them. It was almost cartoony in a way. So it won't be like this is new territory in the Avengers unless they drastically amp up what kind of strength he has.

That's true. In CA:TFA, Cap was tossing those Hydra goons over tanks with one hand and kicking them so hard they flew several yards. Each of those guys must have weighed over 200 lbs. fully loaded with gear, so no normal "peak athlete" could have thrown them around like toys. Cap can also run over 60 MPH for sustained periods of time, which is far beyond the capacity of any human runner. While he certainly isn't as strong as Thor and Hulk, he's far stronger and faster than normal men.

My thing is that I want Captain America to be stronger than he's portrayed because he's my favorite superhero. That's unrealistic, but that's where I am. I can definitely live with him as he is, though, because he's a damn good hero.

No way mate. Creative is more like it.

What is creative about it? It's just a bunch of shmucks dressed up in awful costumes re-enacting the trailer beat for beat.

Only thing I got from it is those people are bored and have nothing better to do.

Would their time have been better spent if they were posting on the net 20 hours a day arguing Kree/Skrull/Inhumans/trunks/no trunks/organic webbing sucks/where's the cat ears/Bane's too small/perma white/ Perry White's what/no star on his back/not enough time on OA/Nazi Nazi where's the Nazi......?

They weren't making a serious version of an Ingmar Bergman film that failed miserably....They created a funny parody with costumes and props for fun.

I've been trying desperately to find the Itunes Trailers record download list. I want to know what the other highest-downloaded trailers were. I know it beat out TF3, but I just wanted to see what else was up there....

heh, I'm just trying to download it from iTunes still.

Heard an interview with the cinematographer for the film and he said that some shots were filmed with an i phone and one is in the trailer. Which one?

Maybe the one of Thor in the street about to throw Mjolnir? I'm just going from memory I dunno the quality of the shot but the POV was pretty low... could be someone hiding on the side filming

Awesome!

Favorite part:
In the sequence they're about to shoot, Iron Man has just suffered a serious ass-kicking, and Thor and Captain America are coming to his rescue. When Thor rips Tony Stark's helmet free, the unconscious billionaire was supposed to wake suddenly, catch his breath, and ask, ''What's next?'' Downey felt there should be more. Whedon agreed and put pen to paper, which resulted not just in a new series of exchanges between the three heroes, but a few alternates for Downey to say, giving the editors some options when it's time to assemble the movie. One choice line from the bunch: ''What happened?'' Stark groans, coming back to consciousness as Captain America and Thor loom over him. ''Please tell me nobody tried to kiss me.''

Evans raises another question as the cameras are about to roll. ''Wait, how do I check for a pulse?'' he asks, realizing that Iron Man's armor makes it impossible. Whedon's face furrows as he thinks. Right. ''Press his chest, lean down, and feel for his breath,'' the director says. Later, Mark Ruffalo shows up in the same scene as The Hulk, performing in a motion-capture suit he describes as ''a cross between a child's pajamas, a test dummy, and a Chinese checkerboard.'' He's stomping in the background after catching Iron Man in his fall from the skies. ''Wait, I grabbed him in the air, saved him from hitting the ground, and now I'm just going to dump him?'' he asks Whedon and co-producer Jeremy Latcham, who ponder the question, then nod. (The Hulk doesn't do gentle.) Ruffalo laughs. ''Okay, you guys are cruel, though.''

I hope they will keep a majority of these scenes out of the trailers, because I don't really want GA to be spoiled too much before they see the movie. These scenes sound like they will be alot of fun.

That would be me. Are you really defending Cap by saying it was supposed to be just mindless popcorn with no depth at all? To each his own, but there will never come a day when I want my CBMs to be popcorn nor that I approve of CBMs being made with that "creative" motivation.

Not a fan of the Indiana Jones series?

Who asked for serious? That's great you liked it. I didn't find the humor in it at all. I thought it was garbage from some very bored individuals. I don't even know that you can call it a parody since they didn't change anything about it. Again it was just dumpy costumes and reciting the trailer line for line.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Is it really true that Marvel is gonna reboot the Avengers AGAIN and give it a new #1 when the movie is released? I can't remember where I heard that from but I figured this would be the place to ask.

I hope that is just a rumor. :( Cause Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 are supposed to lead into the Avengers 2. Is that right?

Since "strength" is today's topic, I would like to say that I sure hope Thor gets to do a few big feats of super strength without his hammer.

I also want to see Iron Man use his armor's super strength more than he has in his solo films, tossing a few vehicles would suffice.

About the trailer parody, did somebody actually see "Be Kind Rewind"? Cause it may look out of the blue, but is not.

Exactly. It's funny if you know the reference. I guess "Sweded" films are still under the radar.
