Just remember he wasn't Bruce Banner in the Bill Bixby series.

Hey, I have a great idea. How about like in the old days we all wait for the movie to come out in the theaters to find out what the alien menace will be?

You can do that by yourself. Any of us can. You don't need to join a forum and read all about it. In fact, there are some movies I don't want to read anything about.

Neither are Bruce Wayne, Bruce Willis, or Bruce Springsteen.

While thinking a name sounds gay is stupid, there's a difference between thinking a name sounds gay and thinking everyone with a name that sounds gay is gay.

Well hey, I remember a time when we did wait for the movie to come out to see the big "surprise" twist or big bad the movie had in store for us. With ignorance the pleasure derived from the discovery as it happens is so much more exciting, like I remember when I watched as Luke found out Vader was his father the first time around and it was shocking!

Yeah, I'm with you Jin. Knowing TOO much can spoil things for a movie, and we already know a fair bit

Yeah, there are/will be a total of five actors playing Banner:

Original Hulk series: Bill Bixby
Ang Lee's Hulk: Eric Bana
TIH: Edward Norton
The Avengers: Mark Raffalo
New Hulk series: ??? (not Raffalo)

Yeah, Bill played David......but Bixby & Norton will always be considered the best Banner. The other two...<sigh>. Hope the new series Banner is worth looking at it.

While I agree with you its better that way and I remember those days also......

I'm an entitled fanboy damnit and I demand to know EVERYTHING ! NOW !!

Lol, I can't help myself when it comes to finding out about these movies when I can. It actually doesn't ruin my enjoyment either. Now I won't go as far as to read the scripts and stuff floating around. I don't want to know EVERY detail, but the big ones i'm okay with.

I agree too, but Star Wars was different. I mean, there isn't gonna be big twists in The Avengers, we pretty much know the limits of what can happen. Is not like Captain America will reveal he's Tony Stark's brother, you know?

How do we possibly KNOW there won't be any big twists? Is Joss Whedon by any means a predictable story teller? I've never thought so...

Hence why I'm trying to keep myself blissfully ignorant. Perhaps I shouldn't be in this forum then! :woot:

I don't want to know every detail of the movie's plot, either. We already know an awful lot about it from set videos and things that have been officially revealed. There have even been complaints from people who eagerly chase down every bit of info that the movie has been too spoiled already. I don't think that's so, but if we get the scoop on Loki's army we might well reach the saturation point.

I hope that Marvel continues to hold its cards close to the vest on The Avengers. It will be nice to have that thrill of recognition and surprise when we see (fill-in-the-blank) on screen. That's part of the joy of seeing a movie for the first time.

The Hulk in the show will be a mix of CG, prosthetics and puppetry. So, obviously, they are tweaking some things for the TV format.

^
Also stop motion animation would work quite well if they make a Sideshow Hulk figure, and this way he could fight alot of villains as well without spending lots of money.

As far as Loki's army goes ,
I would prefer it NOT be The Skrulls and then they show up in the after credits scene disguised as someone we know.
