I wonder why she just stands there as an explosion happens in the background, that's not a very realistic response.

Black Widow is obviously standing over the fallen corpses of her enemies. Why would she care about an explosion when rivers of alien blood flow at her feet?

Besides, badasses don't look at explosions.

Thats awesome. Did you do that? Very awesome! lols. :D

Those aren't mine. They're from http://senorgif.memebase.com/. When I saw that still of BW in front of the explosion I remembered these gifs. She's an assassin with nerves of steel, so she paid more attention to the fallen aliens than the explosions going off around her.

So once Iron Man’s singular franchise is done (assuming if it ends with Iron man 3 and that RDJ only appears as Tony Stark for Avenger Films), which hero should the studio invest in as their singular flagship property like they once did with Iron Man?

Everyone knows a badass, super spy who is USED to causing explosions would obviously flinch. Duh.

That's a pretty good question, actually... Ant-Man (Giant-Man) franchise would seem like an obvious choice for me right now. Can't think of any other superhero.

If the rumors are true & Wright will introduce a group of Ant-Men in his movie, then things are going to get interesting. Audience will definitely find something similar to Tony Stark in each of em, whether it's Pym & Lang (scientific mind & gadgets) or O'Grady (looks & a great sense of humor). It would've been one helluva mix of superheroes in one movie + adding Wasp in the movie might make it even more exciting.

The only two problems, I guess, is the right script & some villains, that they'll be facing in their first solo movie. Egghead/Whirlwind aren't that impressive or dangerous, but still one can never know for sure.

If Marvel got the rights back to Fantastic 4 then I would hope all of their focus would be there. They're Marvel's first family, I can't imagine them getting the short end of the stick.

Yes. It would've been better if Marvel Studios got the rights for FF in 2010, rather than fighting for the Punisher.

It should be interesting to see as to who Marvel Studios ends up putting as their flagship property in regards to their singular heroes franchises once Iron Man 3 comes out. Personally, I would think that they would invest in either Captain America or Thor once Iron Man’s one runs up its time.

Yes, but what will happen, once their time on the big screen will come to an end?

Really?) Like EW article, one trailer, short behind the scenes featurette from Cap, NYCC'11 panel, interviews from the cast wasn't enough for you?)

The only thing I would like to see right now is the first poster (please, no more big A-s).

Yeah, this is what I'm wanting too... hope we get one soon.

Dr. Strange seems the likely choice. And these are all going to be staggered. It's not like they'll wait for one to run it's course before bring the next one up to bat. By the time a Dr. Strange movie hits we'll likely have 3 Iron Man movies, 2 Thor movies and possibly 2 Cap movies in the can as well as The Avengers. Marvel really wants to have a successful Hulk franchise as well so that'll always be in the mix. Others like Black Panther & Ant-Man/Wasp will probably come in behind Dr. Strange the way that Hulk, Thor & Cap did after Iron Man. We'll also likely get another Avengers film during that period as well

Dont know if you guys have heard about this its old, but sony pictures or sony entertainment or whatever its called is predicted to go bankrupt very soon by Wall Street,if this happens i assume Marvel Studios get SM back?.

I heard something about that. Sony itself is fine but the studio arm's future is uncertain. You can bet the Disney boys are eagle eyed watching that develop.

I haven't heard anything regarding FF ever since Fox announced that they are rebooting the franchise. Shouldn't the movie rights expired by now? Then again, Fox still has DD too and they haven't done anything with it for close to a decade.

Just Spidey & Ghost Rider as far as I know.

What scene could it be? And I wonder how he gets the idea of shooting some scenes with the iPhone.

Unless McGarvey rigged the iPhone to a steadicam, I guess it would be the handheld shots of Steve confronting Tony.

Quote: “The beauty of photography or cinema is that you make every choice based on the content at hand. On The Avengers, I did a couple of shots on the iPhone and they are in the movie. In fact, they are in the trailer! I understand that sometimes there is no choice and you have to go for the cheapest option, but if you are limited for choice, you can still make poignant decisions that will effect the look of the film.”

... poignant?
