Didn't realized that the guy next to Fury was Hawkeye when I first saw the trailer.
 
It'll be cool if Hugo Weaving did indeed film some scenes in secret
 
I'm still curious about the aspect ratio for this film.
 
Oh my dear Lord .... if that email about the Red Skull, Thanos, etc. is true I will blow up in my pants. Only gonna take it with a grain of salt, but seriously that would make for one epic CBM movie.

RIM, maybe Widow just rigged the explosion to go off, and she's just looking badass waiting for it to happen.

The shot never bothered me because she looks so damn cool. It's all to do with context.

I remember it too, but it's the super powers of the Super skrull if I remember right, not the entire race of Skrulls

Aside from the suspended amount of level of belief for those spoilers, I doubt that the first Avengers will be THAT PACKED. I mean there's a lot of characters in this film as it is, with the MAIN FOUR plus Loki having their own important story arcs going into this film, especially for those where their own films ended with a cliffhanger.

Plus, if the Red Skull was that heavily involved, we would have heard about it imho since he's already an villain that's been shown, and up until this point, Tom has been going on the record on how LOKI's the MAIN villain for the film.

I think it would be really cool though if indeed the Red Skull is in this or referenced ..... and when Loki is first confronted by Cap, we hear Loki remark something like "Ahhhhh Captain America, I've heard stories about you."

Personally, until I hear from Kevin or Joss about Skrulls or Red Skull, it's still a rumor.
I can SEE marvel using footage from the other films for flashbacks and RS appearing THAT way.
 
No way is that email the real deal. It sounds a lot like what I've been posting on CBM without the lynch pin that kind of holds my theory together. There's definitely a second villain or two but no way would Loki split up the gems like that, giving Red Skull three. If the gems are involved, imo there's room for Red Skull to get the power gem at the end of the movie if they wanted to build up a whole infinity gauntlet storyline (it fits with Red Skull's lust for power if he gets that gem, with 3 gems way too powerful!!), however it's a long shot since Weaving was nowhere to be seen. But if Loki does indeed have the mind gem, then he's stolen the assembled gauntlet from Asgard where it was seen in Thor. So Loki and Thanos weren't really collecting them, it was already all together. If anything Loki offers it up for the army then uses the space gem to go back on the deal, to scatter some of the gems across the realms, while keeping the ones he needs close at hand and tele-porting the army to Midgard. I like the idea of Loki entrusting one gem to Red Skull secretly... and then having it be revealed near the end of the film.

Oh and redacted lol. Yeah that just means they don't want us to know so the name's been concealed. Like when the UFO documents for countries like France, and even the states under the freedom of information act, were released with many, many lines of text blacked out, or redacted, so you couldn't read what was there. Which really isn't freedom of information in that case, because they were trying to be more transparent and stuff but ended up making people even more confused about why they black out so much in some of the documents.

but ya the email seems to have too much info for the movie to handle...
