The comedy in Thor worked for the most part. I loved the scene when Thor woke up in the hospital.

"You DARE attack the Son of Odin!?!?"

Hemsworth completely sold it. Then he starts throwing orderlies around like rag dolls. Hilarious.

Yeah that scene is quite hilarious indeed and it also showed how strong Thor is even in mortal form without his powers.

One question I have about the movie that crossed my mind a few viewing ago: Just when he is about to start infiltrating the Shield base, he knows it's about to start raining. Is this because even in his mortal form he can control the weather slightly? Or he can predict the weather ahead of time on point? I found that part a bit fishy.

I think it was him getting closer to Mjolnir caused some type of reaction in the weather. The same reason SHIELDs computers started acting up.

Yeah when he put the jacket over Jane right before it started raining my friend turned to me and said "so does he still has some of his powers or what"?

I think it's more like a "sixth sense" for him. He might be mortal, but he still has some connection to the weather.

I just assume he knows weather patterns? lol

Yeah I love that scene, because I like to think of the weather being a natural extension of Thor instead of it just being something he controls and manipulates when he needs to.

Just so I get this straight...

What's the title of this film?

The Avengers
The Avengers 3D
Marvel's The Avengers
Marvel's The Avengers 3D
Marvel's Avengers
Marvel's Avengers 3D
Marvel's The Avengers Assemble
Marvel's Avengers Assemble
Marvel's The Avengers Assemble 3D
Marvel's Avengers Assemble 3D
Avengers Assemble
Avengers Assemble 3D
The Avengers Assemble
The Avengers Assemble 3D

...you can see where there is confusion...

Do we have an official title?

-R

Yes, Marvels The Avengers. It's called Avengers Assemble in the UK because of some legal matters. The term "The Avengers" is trademarked over here.

Not that this is the first time I've read this comment from other people but Rob Liefield tweeted yesterday, "I feel like I've seen it before. " referring to the Avengers movie. Could someone please point me towards that movie? Because I've never seen a live action Avengers movie.

Which I don't understand cuz I'm almost positive Marvel's Avengers are older

You guys are right, I'll just ignore him and other people that make similar comments. It's just dumb comments like that really annoy me. If you aren't looking forward to it fine, not everyone is. But don't make stupid comments like that.

Seems to ME that every Artist from that FANART style were jerks after becoming popular, John Byrnes a big example. He and Wendy Pini of Elf Quest had similar art Styles for example Byrne became popular and became an arse.

Nope. The British TV Show "The Avengers" came out a whole 2 years before Marvel's The Avengers came into print.
