I would have GLADLY taken Johnny K over Channing T.
Satisfied and after seeing the pics and Trailer, relieved with the choice of Evans.

Agreed, Krasinski would have been a million times better than Tatum.

But that statement isn't really an indication of how good JK would have been, but rather how f**king horrid Tatum would have been. F*** Channing Tatum. The sooner that *****e is a washed up has-been starring in DTV movies with Billy Zane, the better.

Armie Hammer is good. He was my top choice for Supes. He wouldve been a good Cap too. With him it's just a matter of time before he gets a superhero role. He's already in Lone Ranger

Am I the only one who finds Armie Hammer sleazy and annoying?

What I find funny is people still ragging on John Krasinski, when he has more in common with Evan's Cap than so many of the other names being thrown around, as far as his qualities as a person and actor. JK to me highlighted EXACTLY what people were holding as high qualities as Cap, which primarily seemed to be hair colour, height, build, jawline. As a casting exercise it showed exactly how superficial some people are with their choices.

Mark Ruffalo tweeted: "Avengers is going well. Worked with RDJR today!"

Worked with him on a scene, or worked with him on say, fixing Scarlett's broken bicycle chain on the bike she rode to work?

I see crackpot Krasinski supporters are still around.
Hey, given the choice, if you'd have RATHER had TATUM than Krasinski, I'll stick with my Crackpot and stay WELL clear of yours.
And you, know, at the time, I really wasn't basing it on looks, JK had a while to go in that department, but I think he had what it took to possibly convey Cap onscreen. (Again, this was when he an Tatum were competing for the role)

Same here, I'd have gone with Krasinski over a lot of the names that were being bandied about at the time.

JK is 6'3 .... how was that gonna work? I thought that was the gripe against someone like Armie Hammer.

I think the only thing he and Evans had in common was their constant portrayal of goof balls.

It's sort of hard to believe that there's someone whose parents thought it was a good idea to name them Armand Hammer.

Nothing if you want to be named after baking soda.
