There were like five new candidates being rumored a day and it really got out of hand very quickly

Back at that time, I was willing to give JK a chance, but first person I actually got behind was Evans.

Evans was so much better a choice than the other candidates, IMO. Evans was the only one I could look at and see Cap. JK was a left field choice that might have worked had he got the role, but everyone else in the running was very lackluster.

I forget who all they were. There were too many people involved.

It's funny how Hiddleston was a finalist for Thor and got the Loki role while Stan was a finalist for Cap and got the Bucky role.
