The actual 66 Lunchbox looked pretty great. Would love it if McFarlane did a similar Green Hornet line.

Similarly instead of lunch would have filled it with Mego pocket heroes and and bubblegum cards...

Batman's original utility belt was made out of sponges

Who didn't want to own a Batman utility belt as a kid? In the 1960s, the Ideal Toy Company manufactured one for purchase, complete with Bat-Cuffs and "Bat-A-Rang." It was fun but looked nothing like its TV counterpart. (You can see it at the bottom of this post.)

Love that thing, as well as the precursor Marx Zorro "action set" ...

Why was Poison Ivy not done on the show?

She first appeared in June 1966 when the show was already in full swing. I think that was around the end of the first season. I don't think she had really established herself as a significant big bad. Or at least not enough to catch the producer's attention.
