Totally called this yesterday in the deal Fox had for the new tv show...

It's about damn time. I've been waiting for this forever, day one purchase for me.

I'm honestly so happy I could twerk. :o

Boom. Just like that.

This is the best damn news. All eras of Batman can now be on my shelf!

God I hope there's a Adam West commentary...the world needs it.

If this is bare-bones, I'll be slightly disappointed, but God, just to finally have an official release...

So happy the show gets officially released in his lifetime.

Ahh... Don't say things like that. :csad:

EDIT:

“I think it’s terrific, I think it’s something people have wanted for so long, it’s about time, y’know?” Ward said in the exclusive interview.
He also said he was relieved not to have to answer the million-dollar question any longer.

“I’m thrilled that it’s coming out so that I don’t have to keep answering the question, at every appearance that I make — about 30 or 40 or 50 times an appearance — ‘When’s the DVD going to come out?’ and of course I have nothing to say because I don’t know! That’s one less question I have to answer,” he said with a wink in his voice.

No commentaries have been recorded yet, he said. (UPDATED: WARD hasn’t recorded any commentaries yet. Note the bold on Ward. Because I’m hearing that perhaps some OTHER recording has been done. And when I interviewed Adam West recently, he did say that Warner Brothers has something from him they could use.)

I saw the news this morning and immediately thought of how happy all you guys in this thread must be. I hope they'll be some decent docs on the DVD...

I hate sounding greedy so soon after this wonderful news....

But I need cover art now. :ninja:

Can you imagine if that was actually legit and just happened to leak too soon?

Or has that been known fan art from the get-go?

Boy, that boxset art is terrific!

Julie would be excellent to have.

We have the movie's soundtrack released - would be good if they can do something for the episodes as well, ala the BTAS releases. But if not, doesn't matter. Anything else is a bonus because we have the show coming out for buy this year.

If there's commentary or interviews, I bet West, Ward and Newmar are game.
