I actually think he could play a physically threatening character, but it would have to be one that is built around a kind of psychological hardness rather than the physical perfection that Batman is meant to have. He could have been Aragorn, or Stannis Baratheon, or someone like that.

Fond of Keaton's Batman as I am, I can't pretend it isn't controversial.

Cumberbatch is disgusting, i have no idea why he has so many women obsessed with him. It could only be his voice and acting skills theyre attracted to.

And Michael Keaton is way better looking than Cumberbatch.

Cumberbatch should play Brainiac or J'onn J'onzz, not a traditionally handsome character like Batman

"Disgusting"? That's rather harsh. "Voice and acting skills" are not insufficient reason reasons to find somebody attractive, surely? Unless you think looks are all that matter.

The truth is harsh. I find him "disgusting". Especially compared to all the attractive faces he's surrounded by in Hollywood.
And what you said ""Voice and acting skills" are not insufficient reason reasons to find somebody attractive, surely?" goes with what I was saying. I think you're looking for the word "sufficient" which means "adequate" not "insufficient" which naturally means "inadequate". I don't see why else women would be interested in the guy, they don't know him personally so it's hard to like someone's personality that you don't know. So naturally the only thing i could think of that people would like about him are his voice and acting skills, since they don't know his personality and since he's in my opinion a very unattractive man.

Obviously some women think he's physically attractive, I'll never understand why though.

No, I used a double negative, which renders the meaning soundly.

I take it the word "charisma" means nothing to you. :o

It's funny because in the Star Trek Into Darkness thread I mentioned how Cumberbatch resembles me in that film, and now you're all talking about how ugly he is.

Michael Fassbender as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Pennyworth
Jude Law as The Joker
Joaquin Phoenix as Harvey Dent/Two-Face
Edward Norton as Edward Nygma/The Riddler
Charlize Theron as Selina Kyle/Catwoman

I don't think any of my choice will be in the future films since release of the future movies could be between 2015 or 2018.:csad:

They're gonna be looking for people in their late 20s and early 30s by that time, and everybody up there is already pretty haggard.

:oldrazz:

Don't want to see a twenty-something Batman. He might end up being played by Taylor Lautner or someone like that. Batman should be able to change fuses. And solder.
