It's funny you bring him up because I was just coming in here to ask about his Spartacus co-star Jai Courtney. I've never seen Spartacus but I liked Courtney in Jack Reacher and thought he had a real natural intensity to him that would be well-suited for Bats.

He also has a certain rugged quality (and a great jawline) that I'd like Batman to have. Just needs to grow his hair out a little. Jack Reacher is the only thing I've seen him in though, so I was wondering if he was any good in Spartacus. I noticed he is also similarly built like a tank, lol.

How about Liam McIntyre?

30 years old, solid actor with a bright future, and he's built like a tank. Just add some hair dye.

I suggested him awhile ago...but told he was bland!

Spartacus is amazing, your a fool if you miss out. Jai Courtney was compelling as Varro aswell.

Brosnan's Alfred might be more along the veins of the new 52's EARTH 2 Alfred, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that.

It would cool to see that new take on Alfred. Even somebody like Brosnan, somebody younger and fitter, it would bring a new origin in itself. Nothing wrong with that.

Spartacus is a trashy guilty pleasure (for some people anyway). It is in no way brilliant or amazing or any other hyperbolic adjective. You enjoy it, leave it at that.

Breaking Bad is amazing, the first season of Lost was amazing, The Sopranos (for long stretches) was amazing. Deadwood was f*****g amazing. See the difference?

Neither Marvel nor WB need to look to Spartacus or syndicated fantasy shows for their talent. There are better options. And WB isnt stupid enough to replace a world-class leading man actor like Bale with some hottie from Spartacus. It aint happening.

A slightly younger Alfred. than Gough and Caine is fine. Brosnan for example will be in his mid 60's by the time that comes out.

And I would like to see a different take on Alfred. Brosnan could play the jolly Alfred as we see, but obviously he's more suited to that Earth One version...the hardened guy, who has a dry wit, but still caring and loving towards Bruce. It'd be a nice dynamic. Surely we can't have another old fashioned Alfred like Gough and Caine compalining about Bruce being Batman and interferring again with their love lives?

Brosnan as Alfred based on Earth One, to an extent, would be good imo.

Luke Evans, Jon Hamm, Armie Hammer, Michael Fassbender, Karl Urban, Anson Mount.

That would be the regulars, wouldn't it?

If its regulars you are talking about maybe even Gosling. I mean, he MAY not ever do a superhero movie but he is suggested often enough!

My choices right now are Hartnett for the reboot with Urban/ Edgarton for an older Bats!

He looks like how Bruce is depicted in The Arkham games actually. I like it.
