after i watched Arrow "season1" there was this guy called " the Count". Damn he would be the perfect Joker. The way he talked... i got goosebumps. I think they were going for a Joker moment in that scene.

I have to disagree with you on that one. I.d never take that guy seriously as the joker, the joker is the king of all comic villains, and that guy would just make me laugh in the theater.

Yeah he's definitely my top choice. Sure he was Green Goblin, but that was over ten years ago.

If Dafoe becomes Joker, he'll surely draw comparisons to Affleck, who was also cast as a Marvel character around ten years ago..

Dafoe looks more like Joker than any other actor I can think of. It also helps that he's one of the best character actors of all time.

I don't care that he was Green Goblin, he's too perfect for Joker. I always imagined Joker as being older than Batman.

Oh, if they reboot the Joker.. I'm resurrecting my cry for Cripsin Glover to take the role. I think he can do great things with it. He can be physical like Ledger but he can creepy in a different way. He won't be as charismatic as Ledger and i'll miss that but ... hey, creepy isn't bad for this character

I think Joker is slightly taller than Batman.

It's like they're equal, but Joker looks slightly down at him, which feels more intimidating.

Sometimes he's slightly shorter. But I prefer it when they're of equal height.

the Joker's listed at 6'0 and 6'5, depending where you look. I think it just depends on the writer, but they're usually pretty close in height. Ben Affleck is 6'4,Wood is 5'6.

Agreed about Wood being underrated. If not Joker what about him playing The Riddler? Or a young version of The Ventriloquist?
I've only seen clips from Maniac, but from what I've seen, he's awesome in it, I'd love to see him tackle a Batman villain.

i'm not seeing JRM as Joker really at all either. Him as Constantine works though.

It'd be typecasting and predictable, but Willem Dafoe is ideal for me. He can top Ledger and Nicholson. He's on their same level acting wise, and visually he has a leg up on both of them, he looks like Arkham City Joker

He has the creepy smile. Mad eyes. The charm of a slippery snake. He's awesome in villain roles and not afraid of going over the top. He's fun to watch.
