Is it because the architecture is gothic? Lol this is a guy who builds a car and suit himself without billion dollar military tech. Where Reeves said he wanted to ground it like Year One. How is it more fantastical than Nolan’s?
I cant put my finger on it, it just feels less grounded to me.
I know nolan had stuff like the Tumbler, The Bat, he had Scarecrow etc...but somehow the way Reeves shot his Batman, it gives me vibes that feel more fantastical.
Maybe its the Cinematography...i dont know.
