Just dont put it on reverse. Imagine batman impaling pedestrians with his car! Too japanese for my tastes but outrageous enough to be batman's car.

Maybe subconsciously I love it because it's too japanese. But the way the "fins" are.... yes, it's a fantastic concept.

Yesterday I went to Walmart and saw a new Hotwheels collection for Batman. It's great, they have the Batmobile from BB and TAS, also the old 60's one and the 60's tv show batcycle and side car for robin.

I have to get the tumbler and TAS Batmobile. Really cool.

Oh, and they have one for the most recent comic book Batmobile also, the one before this new that just debuted. Which is really cool. thought I'd let you Mobile fans know incase you haven't heard of them, I didn't know till I saw them in the store.

The wheels on the batpod are identical to the front wheels of the tumbler. Since reports are saying it comes from the tumbler, I think when he goes into weapons mode he's in the batpod position and there's a further step which detaches and forms the batpod. We get to see this step in TDK.

I could see an all-black Peugeot 4002 (concept car) becoming the new Batmobile... And if you want something with more classical lines, you could go for the Peugeot 907...

We will definitely see a new Batmobile in the third film because the Tumbler is smashed to bits in TDK...and I'm sure it will be sleeker than the Tumbler much like Batman's costume is sleeker in TDK than it was in BB...but I remember hearing rumors that the batmobile might one day hover and fly much like the police cars in BLADE RUNNER (which is Nolan's fave film of all time)...and if you notice the design of the Tumbler you will se it's damn close to the Blade Runner squad cars...so will the new Batumbler fly in the third film? It would be cool!

The new suit is sleaker to allow for better movement and fighting scenes. So i dont see how this should apply to the batmobile.

I agree the tumbler is an awesome vehicle no doubt. But the tumbler is an Urban Assault vehicle. Batman does not need to shoot down bridges or break through walls all the time.

Batman is an exceptional detective, tactician, and fighter. I am not saying take the tumbler out of his arsenal I'm saying add a more traditional bat-mobile to it. Batman does most of his most effective crimefighting in the shadows. He does not primarily use a frontal assault he is slick, smooth, swift, and brilliant.

Yes the Tumbler is great but he needs a Batmobile also.
