The BATSUIT Thread

If you went with a gray "fabric" suit, go with Earth One but a shade or two darker.
Myself, I like the strapped on tactical armor, plus when it comes to movie suits I usually gravitate towards the all-black look (putting me at odds with most comic book fans). Most suits designed with the armor plating have a black or dark gray under suit, with lighter gray armor. I would like to see them experiment with black armor over a gray under suit instead.
Oval all the way, but use a bronze or gold instead of yellow.
As for the mask, The Dark Knight showed us that it's easy to keep the mask and neck separate for better head movement. Keep that, and I had an idea. Obviously, if Bruce wants to take off the mask and keep the suit on, he could take the mask off like a helmet. But I think it would be cool to give the mask a removable faceplate. I just think it would be cool visual to see Robert Pattinson's face in full, still outlined with the sides of the mask with the ears up top.
I wish I was better at art, so I could actually draw or make a Photoshop of what I mean.

I don't mind the strapped-on armor look, but I would prefer a black undersuit with grey armor, if they went that route

That's why I say experiment, as in do some sketches and maybe make some mock suits. It all comes down to what looks best on Rob, and what matches the aesthetics and mood of the film best. That might end up being an all-black suit, or gray padded fabric. I would just like them to take it into consideration.

I really like the second and third ones. Especially 5his one

I'd only drape the cape over the shoulders for a more traditional look (cape should able to envelope the body i.e TAS) and change the logo for something less Nolan-esque. But I'd be very happy with this

Just do this. This isn't complicated unless people make it complicated. Maybe refine gauntlets, but its black/grey/ shows armor but isn't overly bulky and is clearly enough of the iconic overall look.

That looks pretty good. Maybe tone down the fake abs and I can see this working really well with Pattinson's build.

Well if they ever do, let's hope to God it's better than the hand-me-downs from Batman Forever and The Dark Knight.

The bug eyes from TDK still haunt me, but it was kinda cool to see some form of Bat lenses.

Great looking suit and perfect texture pattern.

Can't put my finger on the exact reason, but something like this would give me a bigger rush than an "ideal" faithful translation. Makes the whole thing feel more new and unpredictable.

I'm just not a fan of Bermejo's design for the Batsuit. The dude is super talented, and I love his art, but I'm just not a fan of his Batsuit design.

I don't think we will get a lot, if any amour on the new suit. I think it will be sleek and streamlined.
This is really what I want above anything else. A sleek, aerodynamic design that emphasizes speed and stealth as opposed to bulk and strength.

It works well for both a detective-focused Batman and a younger Batman. Something we haven't seen before in these movies.

I want a Batman that is as fast and agile as Black Panther (without powers)

Agreed.

With Rob's body type, I think this is what we will be getting.
