The BATSUIT Thread

Lots of productions want to do a promotional image instead of on set photos leaking. That's the main reason I think something might be released soon, if it happens.

If that's the case they are probably going to keep Batman under wraps for a while. Otherwise, if they're planning any location shooting with Batman they'll likely release an official picture first.

I'm okay with not seeing the suit for a long while. Would be amazing if they could somehow hold off until the first teaser drops.

Me too. And I don't think that a live action Batman should be this blue. It works better in comics and animation simply because it's the best way to render how lightning affects the black parts of Batman's suit.
The same way, reflections on black hair are often rendered by using blue, as well. Sometimes people take art way too literally and forget that there is an entire translation process when going from the drawn page to something real and that just because you CAN make something 1:1 the same, it doesn't mean you should or that it's the right way.

Pretty cool except for the elbow pads, and the stupid undies outside of the pants. I mean why?!

Ding, ding. Blue in a live action real world Batman, is stupid. It originally was used as an accentuating color as you said for black on two dimensional images. People take the translation process with comic book characters way too literally

First time I'm seeing this, thought it was just really good CGI this whole time.

I literally wouldn’t mind a scowl sculpt like that, with that intricately detailed textures ... to literally look like a monster with all the facial features.

I think he looks frightening as hell in that scene.

Only difference is you would need to cut out the mouth hole for a more traditional mouth opening.

Don't want shoulder straps, reminds me of Captain America, and straps won't allow the cape to fully drape over the shoulders.

Dislike shoulder pads too. He looks like he's going to say "Avengers assemble" anytime. :o
