Plus when Reeves talks about the film being realistic he has followed it up with mentioning the consequences and functionality of someone like Batman/Bruce in the real world and ties it back into the humanist angle he's trying to achieve. His comments haven't been focused on the limitations of Batman in the real world or how practical he can make his Batman. That's one of the things The Dark Knight Trilogy was known for, I don't think Reeves will want to retread that water. Instead as mentioned above it looks heavily stylized with a specific vision/direction.
