My only concern with Reeves running the other direction from the Snyder depiction is him going back into the arms of the all black motorcycle type suit. Eh.

Keep the grey.

I do think all-black is a very real possibility and fans may want to brace for that. But I'd be stunned if he managed a design more aesthetically messy than the Dark Knight suit.

We can also just buy that any batsuit he wears is automatically bulletproof? Is it really that hard to believe? lol I'm a simple fan like that, I'm willing to over step that disbelief in order to get a slick suit.

In BvS he gets shot pointblank to the back of the head and nothing happens, we just all mostly bought it. Eh.

Yeah, his suit doesn't make sense in the damn first place either. Just shoot him in that opening cowl chin. lol

It was also one of the things that I liked about the wearhouse BvS fight scene, the cape was used against him for a moment.

My preference is for the suit to appear fabric based but it’s actually a highly durable, malleable, bullet proof armor. Batman should be able to put his suit on like a shirt right? That’s what Year One established. Also, I love the way the Flash tv show handles the cowl when Barry’s not wearing it. It loses its form and just hangs down behind Barry’s head. Think of the scene in MOTP where Batman first puts on the cowl. Even the cowl appeared to be made out of fabric.

Tell you what though... black rubber bat suit and a great characterisation / storyline beats super duper accurate cool AF grey cloth bat suit and another awful characterisation / storyline every time.

As long as the damn thing looks like Batman, and cuts a good silhouette / figure I’ll be happy... as long as the film it’s in is very good.

Again, why can't we have both? Yes, if it comes down to having cb accurate suit over performance, we would all choose characterization. I'm just damn tired of true world type of realism and hoping the next big wig aka Reeves would embrace Gotham as also a full character/setting. No more real world chicago as gotham. There is a perfect balance in there somewhere.

I must admit I hate the DK/DKRises suit with a passion. Loved BB suit tho. Yes, I overlooked the crap suit becasue the flicks were good, so that is fair.

Bruce should want an armour that also allows him to blend in, be theatrical and give this bat persona some weight. The cowl and cape should be the most visible aspect of the suit..it should also be the most organically natural looking, for the effect to work. Under the cape, should be the most lightweight, durable, protective material out there.

I would totally take that cowl. I would like something that feels like, even though they aimed at the same ballpark, it was tackled from an entirely new angle. It looks to me like a black modernized version of the Adam West cowl. It's not THE thing to aim for, but I like that particular combination of details.

Yeah, this and the classic Adam West Batsuit are big reasons why I personally cringe at the idea of a fabric-based cowl. Especially if most of us here are in agreement with the idea that the longer Bat-Ears should make a return.

Yeah, I really think all-black batsuits generally look fantastic and fitting for Batman on live-action films. So what if it isn't exactly comic accurate? It feels more appropriate in that context IMO.
