I would agree with this in a less gritty take. Modernized Burton or something along those lines.A cowl like this...View attachment 21507
We definitely do need some long ass ears this time around. Just look at those nubs.
You guys are talking about horror, gargoyles, and long ears but haven't posted any Kelley Jones

Yeah, that type of Bats would only work if you went full-on Sin City level stylized with the movie.

That's basically Burton on steroidsYou guys are talking about horror, gargoyles, and long ears but haven't posted any Kelley Jones

These manips remind me of an old concept based on the Fantastic Four suits. It looked pretty neat, but I don't have it. Anyway, those are also good starting points :If Matt Reeves goes with a Dark Deco/ noir- themed Gotham, then there is no reason why a light fabric suit wouldn't work.
Either light fabric, or a fabric layer over light padding (like the Youtube Nightwing series).
I think Snyder's team spoilt the Affleck suit by adding random crosshatch texture all over it. The slimmer test-suit looked much better before Batman became Puffman.)

It's basically a "Marvel style" Neal Adams Batman. I think it would be different enough from what came before.^ Love that grey and blue!
Really into this. A slightly darker blue may be better, but I’m really into the idea of the blue. These manips remind me of an old concept based on the Fantastic Four suits. It looked pretty neat, but I don't have it. Anyway, those are also good starting points :

Are there other photos of this? Where did you find it?View attachment 21739
Poste this in the actor thread, but it probably really belongs here. This suit is obviously past the line of appropriateness, but I'd *love* to see something that really leaned almost this hard into the demon angle. It's a highly organic, leathery suit, but could be also exceptionally high tech and functional. And I know our dude has a sweet utility belt, but I also wonder if the cape could be used as an inventory as well... I always thought that Joker's utility coat at the beginning of The Dark Knight was super sweet. Anyway, this will never happen in a million years, but Reeves could pull it off brilliantly.
