I'm glad they retained Pattinson's comic booky jawline. I was hoping they would. It's too good to be hidden!
No but logistically speaking the Waynes are probably the only ones murdered by gun who's kid has the financial means and connections to pull off a high tech suit to become Batman.
This is like the reverse of the Affleck casting and reveal. Ppl shat on Affleck's casting, then when that black and white suit reveal came, it was a 180. I totally dug Pattinson's casting, but this suit is making me turn 180. Wtf is the Gotham by Gaslight cowl and high tech armor? Make's no design sense at all.I loved Batfleck as much as anyone and am still pissed he’s gone, but I’m excited for this project and I like the vibe of this. We have to see the full suit and see it in action before we can judge.
Lol the cowl looks handmade sure, but in a general sense if the batsuit in total isn't a high tech piece of equipment, then I dunno.Logistically i.e cherry picking.
First it's too handmade but now it's ''high tech''. Make your mind up.
Yeah, it just feels all over the place. I wanna see it in better light, and of course, the full reveal. I wanna see the ears, cape, legs, boots, gloves, etc. I dunno, maybe I'll change my mind when I get a better look at it?This is like the reverse of the Affleck casting and reveal. Gotham's dark knight detective. Gunman.A gun in his Chest?
I must be Bruce Wayne, the only man with any connections to a gun ever!!!!
No it wasn’t LOL BvS neck was basically like Batman Begins made in 2003 and used for filming in 2004.The neck was extremely mobile on Affleck's suit.
It still looks like a bat without the symbol having ears itself ... why is this even an issue?A Bat emblem without bat ears? Come on.
Although I do like the seemingly Arkham Knight inspiration.
)What's this Batmobile rumor? And doesn't Aranofsky's script have him losing his fortune after his parent's death? If that's the route taken, that might explain the hand-stitched-ness of the cowl. That breast plate looks like something someone could totally make in a modest hobbies metal shop. It’s highly armored but I don’t think there’s anything high tech about it. It’s ultra stylized weirdness homebrew stuff. I know a guy in Grand Rapids who makes his own armor; this is a suit that anyone could make. I imagine rumors of the Batmobile are true as well. If anything I think this Batman will take a cue from the Aranofsky take and employ blue collar tech. I think he’ll be a rich guy with a butler, but my guess is no huge fancy cave, and a generally really man-of-the-people approach. You can bet on a bulky utility belt, and I’ll be somewhat shocked if they have grappling guns.
See to me this is the exact opposite of the Ben Affleck Batman reveal, particularly in the black and white, with the sad depressed look. When I first saw Batflleck I was blown away. This reveal hasn't had the same affect on my unfortunately.
I don't hate it, I like it.
I guess I was just hoping for a more traditional grey/blue with the oval.
I don't disagree with your post. Just different opinions regarding the 14 reveal and the 2020 reveal.See to me this is the exact opposite of the Ben Affleck Batman reveal, particularly in the black and white, with the sad depressed look.
I was just like whatever. It was just a lazy literal translation of TDK returns suit, complete with the bulbous fat bat symbol, only given real world texture ... and removal of the stupid diapers.
This actually looks inspired. And unique. Thus more interesting as an adaptation.
In combination with a more inspired casting of an actor in the suit, and the guy who to be frank is a way better actor than Ben Affleck.
