Even for a billionaire, I could realistically see aspects to the bat suit that are completely handmade. The stuff you can’t just go buy.

Like the mask. He had to piece it together in Begins as well. Granted his mask was made of graphite.

The Affleck mask I assumed was rubber, and then it was shown that there was an under layer of armor underneath it

The production didn't do themselves any favors posting the original, dark, red tinged video. It would have been fine as a tease to the suit reveal, but now I think they need to release a proper, well lit photo or video featuring Pattinson in the suit.

They don't need to do anything. The type of person looking at online set photos will see the movie no matter what. Most of the general audience won't even know this movie is being made until the first trailer drops.

True but we also see Alfred working on the helmet underneath the mask when Bruce first comes into the Batcave in Batman versus Superman.

We also see the mask take a point blank bullet to the back of the head and it ricochets.

So IDK.

In reality it was rubber, but we have to make believe it’s armor.

You know like how The Guard complained about the Nolan suits earlier in this thread LOL we’re pretending over all of these costume

But yeah, I’m actively talking about the topics at hand. I’m not trolling anybody. Being a productive content based poster on here. So you have me misread. Oh well, miscommunication.

Back to one color, back to armor aesthetic.

There are a couple design decisions which are genuinely new, but overall this is very much the same throughline as the other live-action suits.

Still hoping for a massive revamp in a follow-up suit, but not holding my breath.

But it is not one colour? It is black and grey and the colouring is as per the traditional colour scheme (black cowl, cape, chest symbol, gives and boots). It is just a darker shade of grey for the bodysuit.

I like this suit, but I get what others are saying. Snyder showed that a more comicbook accurate type suit can work, and some (myself) included was hoping Reeves would take it to the next level and make it way better.
