I don't think it's 30 minutes though....
I would start counting from when she cut off Sophies arm to her walking out to the garden
yeah that sounds about right. that whole chapter is brilliant though even before she cuts off sophies arm, theres that long tracking shot of the 88s going to the room then the Bride going to the bathroom, then sophie going to the bathroom. Its not necessarily exciting but the way the camera moves is awesome.
It is quite a great long take that you do not normally see in movies these days.
'Rocky Balboa' possibly had the best fight of the series.Fist Fight..........Shane.
Sword fight........Tie between The Adventures of Robin Hood Errol Flynn / Basil Rathbone and The Mark of Zorro Tyrone Power / Basil Rathbone.
Don't think anyone's mentioned Rocky.
very true, i think long takes are coming back into fashion however. I heard Terminator Salvation used one which is extremely rare for an action flick yet alone a summer blockbuster action flick
Id agree...Children of Men and Atonement really showcased the long take and how it's a really effective tool when you get it right
i curse everyone in this thread for not naming ONE wachowsky bros movie!!
especially the most espensive car chase in history in Reloaded.
Wouldn't call it "the best" but I would call the shootout at Top Dollar's club in The Crow "pretty damn good".
The part where Daredevil rampages through the bar.
i think terminator salvation has some good action scenes,
