I used to live in Richmond Hill, Queens
Nice neighborhood. Good times.

Ozone Park, Woodhaven, The Rockaways are all good

****ing christ, tell me Queens is cheaper!

If you find anything less than $1200, consider yourself lucky.

I live in long island and I have a ****ty 1 floor house.
And it's worth over 400 grand

Everything is ridiculously overpriced

Even in queens? That's ridiculous!

Looks like I'll be needing a roommate :down

I have a friend that was living near manhatten and she was only paying about 500 since she had roommates, and she had a pretty big section. It probably helped that it was a house of guys willing to give a chick that space. I need to find a house full of girls

Man, I found an awesome deal on Craig's list, but it says no smoking :down

Waitaminit, I was going to quit anyway because of the high prices! If I can find this place in ten seconds, I bet I can find something in the next month that's decent. Cheery demeanor: restored.

I'm finding some places with three month leases that aren't too pricey, that would be a nice option too. Good call on the craig's list thing. I'd never used it before.

It's meant in jest even though it has sprinkles of truth.:)
