I like it, & so I am making a thread about it. Join me people in enjoying this show. It isn't the best show on the planet, but it is pretty damn funny. Plus Couco is HAWT!:o

She's easily the best reason to watch this show although the writing comes in at a very close second. I got kind of sick of watching the Fantastic 4 cartoons and hearing Reed toss around scientific buzzwords to try and sound smart so this is a pleasant surprise.

Sadly, I don't see it lasting more than one season. :(

Watched the first episode and it was painfully unfunny. Couco is hot, but not hot enough to distract me from the horrible writing and equally horrible laugh track. I laughed once during the premiere episode.

Same here.

yeah the pilot wasn't great, but I thought the second episode was funnier. They even had an arguement about Superman's strength at the beginning of the episode. lol

The Superman thing was f-ing funny! I had been thinking that for years. I just kept it to myself, because I thought it was a little weird. Not to mention the scene they mentioned. Louise couldn't have hit terminal Velocity. She wasn't falling that long, & think it takes 2 seconds of free fall to reach Terminal.

I didn't think that I would like this show before it aired, but I'm hooked.I hope this show lasts for quite awhile, and that each episode is just as good as the first two episodes.

I'll admit that the second episode was far superior. The biggest draw is still Cucou, though.

I liked the second episode a lot more than the first. The superman bit was hilarious. I hope this show lasts awhile too. And Cucou is the biggest draw for me too, although the writing is better than I thought it would be.

I never really thought about the whole Superman thing before. I never thought about it from the physics point of view. I have physics right now in college and I really wish I was a geek in it like the guys in the show. I could use their intellect right now.

Does anyone know how many episodes this first season will have, and if this show is gonna get a second season?

Haven't heard anything about it not going for 22 episodes. If it gets picked up for a second season? Who knows. It's only been four eppies.

So far Big Bang Theory has done well and has been picked up for a full 22 episode season. From Hollywood Reporter:

Two freshman series, ABC's drama "Private Practice" and CBS' comedy "The Big Bang Theory" got full-season pickups Thursday.

ABC and CBS ordered nine additional episodes from each series, bringing the total for both "Practice" and "Bang" to 22 episodes.

The ABC Studios-produced "Practice," a spinoff of the hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," has emerged as the highest-rated new series this season among adults 18-49.

Meanwhile, "Big Bang," co-created by "Two and a Half Men" co-creator Chuck Lorre, has fit nicely into CBS' Monday night comedy block.

"Practice" and "Bang" join "Gossip Girl," which received a full-season pickup last week.

Apparently it's the most popular new show this season for CBS, so I hope it hangs around like How I Met Your Mother.

Sheldon and Leonard totally make the show for me, and Kaley Cuoco is hot.

All the guest spots from the former Roseanne cast so far have been great with Laurie Metcalfe and Sara Gilbert. I hope they pop up ever now and again.

The danger I see is that Leonard's pining for Penny could get old pretty quickly. So I hope it's not like that the whole show.

Also from the looks of things the show is pretty cheap to do, they never do anything extravagent.

There isn't currently a show on TV that makes me laugh as consitantly as Big Bang.....I guess I'm a bigger geek than I thought

The show is very quotable too. I guess us being kind of nerdy fanboys, maybe we just sympathize with these type of characters more :) .

Sheldon's a riot, and Sara Gilbert's deadpan humor is great.

Leonard and Penny is my OTP!

Well not sure. She's only been on two episodes so far. I think she just might be a recurring character less than a regular.

It seems Chuck Lorre gets along with all the former Roseanne cast members except Roseanne. I think it will be awesome if all the main cast members from Roseanne all pop up in the show save for her.

Great episode this week!

Penny and Leonard smooched . . . but she was drunk. Will she just forget about it all the next day?

Loved the reactions to the party being a Halloween party with costumes.

Sheldon is totally awesome.

Ok, watched last night's episode having everyone saying the show is improved and since Prison Break wasn't on. I don't see where the humor is coming from, thank god this show has a laugh track otherwise I'd never know when a joke was actually supposed to be funny. This show just sucks, so I guess all you guys that like it will be able to watch it for years.

Actually I tried this out last night too because of Prison Break, and honestly I wasn't that impressed. It was worth a shot I suppose though.

Saw the first few episodes, it's nothing great but it's watchable if nothing else is on.

The nerd pop-culture references are spot-on, but the overall structure of the show is typical lame sitcom.

Last night's episode was pretty funny. Still not the best sitcom ever, but enjoyable. And y'know, Penny is hot.
