Do you think DD will haver a fully functional weapon or will he only use it as a staff or two Batons?

If they are going for "realistic"......the swinging thing may not come off that way.


Personally, I want some swinging.......I want "superhero" stuff. If I wanna watch Law & Order, I'd turn to NBC...........

I suspect he'll swing. I don't see anything wrong with that. I do think parkour moves should be emphasized, but it's always fun when he swings too.

I would be okay if he can't use it to swing for the first few episodes, just to get some awesome parkour scenes.

As with the suit, it'll probably be an evolution that we get to watch. I wouldn't be concerned. I just don't want him swinging like Spider-man with arcs of hundreds of feet. He has no super strength or durability to withstand that. It'd rip his arms from their sockets or more likely his grip strength simply wouldn't be up to the task. We already had enough of him pulling off Spider-man stunts and such BS in the Affleck movie.

Ha, yes I am bumping this.

I enjoyed the slow build up of his weapons. Especially the show's opening moments with the bouncing throws off the dock canisters. It's my hope that there's an upgrade next season that involves grappling lines to help him move faster throughout the city. That's all that's missing.

It would be rather difficult to do this live action while still keeping the "swinging" style different from Spider-Man, but if the fight choreography is any indication, I have faith they can nail it perfectly.

Loved the way they had him throwing and ricocheting the billy clubs and the improvised weapons he used before getting them. Lost my **** when he did it in the first fight scene of the opening episode. Such great stuff.
