The Bond 23 Thread

It just feels too close for comfort for me. I mean, if they only distribute from here on out, fine. It's the possibility of distributing eventually turning into financing that I dont want.

So did any one see the rumor of possible title/shooting code name for the film.

There's a rumor going around that the next Bond film may be Called Red Sky at Night and may take place in Canada. Canada's interesting, but the name seems pretty dull for me to actually believe.

Every James Bond rumor is usually completely false. Like Al Pacino being the villain in Quantum of Solace.

It does seem like an ok name. But ya probably bs unless its the shooting cover name for the film. Some do get very strange titles to cover up said film from folks. As for the canada bit would be nice.

Bond returns to Canada! LOL, I wonder if it'll take any inspiration from the real The Spy Who Loved Me? If the rumor is true that is. It could be a nice way to work in Horror (or Jaws to you who never read them).

They could expand the Quantum storyline with Canada. At the end of Quantum he catches up with Vesper "boyfriend" who's was after someone in Canadian intelligence.

Canada dovetails quite well into where they left if off with QOS if they go the TSWLM route. Not like they used anything but the title and a few characters from that book, there's still 90% of the material left to be mined and adapted.

i think it would be cool to see Bond working with the Canadian government/secret service/w.e it is we have, since we are part of the commonwealth. i'd love to see how that relationship would work

I think he should team up with that fellow from "Due South".

Not really.

Can't beat a a death-defying winter sports chase in a James Bond movie.

I'd like to see Bond team up with some of the boys from JTF-2 and take out some terrorists.

CSIS could assign a sexy/sassy/witty agent to accompany Bond through.

Bond can also rock a sick black turtleneck like Archer.

Whats JTF-2??

****ing Badass, that's what.

Actually it's a military organization comprised of elite Canadian Forces personnel.

Not to fond of the title, but I also saw the title Red Shadow linked to where this rumor originated from.

Yeah, who have probably been trained up by the SAS, the most badass of the badass.....or even the SBS who are even more badasser...:awesome:

Canada? So maybe we can see the return of the ski chases?

God, I hope so.

'Red Sky at Night' is an not especially bad title per se, but for me it doesnt have an 'oomph' factor; it doesnt exactly give you the impression that something cool's going to go down and sounds more like the title of an old persons bedtime reading.

'Red Shadow' though sounds badass, ominous, exciting. Granted, it's more like something you'd see on the cover of a Tom Clancy novel as opposed to a Fleming one, but I like it all the same.

It has punch.

Red Sky At Night is such a sloppy title.

Red Shadow does sound more Clancy like yes, but it's better than the former.

Well, they could always use the old standby of just sticking the word die into the title.
