I'm still pretty nervous on whether they will allow TDKR in China... I really hope that they show it because it will do so well there. I'm positive of it.

I don't see why not. There's nothing in it(that we've seen) that would offend them like in TDK. Also Bale did the Flowers of War movie so that should bring some recognition to the movie.

LOL I bet WB is pissed at Nolan for not doing 3D and they're also pissed at Bale for possibly ruining the chances of it being released in China.

hehe, perhaps. But they should have some perspective. Batman franchise has never been in a better spot than right now, so they should think back to the dark days of the late 90's and early 2000's when the franchise wasn't a cash cow and was in development hell.

I think the best case scenario if it's released there and they can just not do a premiere there or if they want to, Bale can just skip that. China profits, WB profits, and eeryone's happy.

Yep, I applaud Bale for not backing down from this but WB will be looking to punish someone if TDKR gets banned in China. Poor, poor Interns.

I'm all for Bale and what he stands for, boxoffice be damned. He's a great person who is a hero in reality, not just in the movies.

Meh i only cared about box office for BB and TDK just so we could get our trilogy, so that wish has already come true, all i care about now is TDKR knocking it out of the park so we can get a rare perfect trilogy. This film will already make some insane money, i'm not too fussed if it beats Avengers or not, because it's just picking who gets to lose to Twilight end of the year

I'm so glad TDKR is not 3D.

Seriously. It would mean more box office records, surely, but....if the only IMAX showings I could go to were in 3D, I would BURN DOWN THE THEATER.

I think with 3D, if I can't watch it in that same quality at home, I'm not really interested. It's a thing just for the cinema, a one-off thing.
