Venom The Carnage thread

View attachment 34095 This could also be a possible design

Damn, this is sick. I'd be all for this

Since they made Venom himself look so cool, I trust what they're doing with Carnage visually. The first one without the Knull symbol could be interesting. The second one seems very likely as well

These are both cool too. I'd really take any of those 3 ^

But yeah, with the job they did with Venom, I have full confidence they'll deliver something awesome for Carnage too.

I just want to see it!

Is that fan made?

Cool design. Hope he doesn't end up as bulky as Venom.
I doubt they'll make him as bulky as Venom. Riot wasn't skinny, but he still didn't have the exact same physique as the titular character, so I think we're in relatively safe hands.

As you all know, 'Let There Be Carnage' was pushed back to June 2021. There was a Marvel Legends wave intended to coincide with the original release date that Hasbro still decided to release, and the Carnage figure in that line is suspiciously more detailed than usual. Could this have originally been the movie Carnage figure that they just decided to change into a comic version at the last minute??

This may be our first look. He's got toes like Venom, different tendrils (spikier), and seems to have a realistic muscle-y texture underneath the black bits (which are raised and separate). On a lesser note, he also doesn't come with any weapons.

So is this the movie Carnage design? Or do we have to wait to get a movie version of him, the way we had to wait 2 years just to get Venom in movie form from the first film? Lol

Interesting

I'm assuming you're right, and this was indeed meant to tie in with the release, and it likely at least largely similar to or based on the film version. Not sure how I feel about (any of) the faces, but I really dig the overall look.

And are those other heads/faces pieces that come with the toy figure that you can swap out with the first? or just leaked 'concept' ideas for the toy that didn't make it to market?

either way good find

I'm 90% sure that we'll get a movie Carnage next year. Not sure if this is the movie design though

These are swappable heads that already come with the figure. The spiral head is from Absolute Carnage and the other head is pure Mark Bagley, moreso than the previous ML Carnage.

I'm not so sure about this being a movie figure anymore because of the height. Venom and Riot were both tall so I don't see why they won't do that for Carnage.

Right on. Thanks

so...no trailer here as well, huh?

Nope :/

Started an entire thread about it as well, and there hasn't been one single response/post in it :funny:

I'm honestly thinking/hoping maybe they'll drop one on or around Oct 2nd when the movie was originally supposed to come out. Might be a cool thing for them to do for the fans?

New concept art from the first movie :D

I have to wonder:

Judging by Cletus' presumably symbiotic shirt......is Carnage going to have some orange incorporated into his color scheme? Maybe not the eyes and hopefully not the glowing chest light like Ultimate Carnage, but.....what about orange veins in addition to the red and black?

I understand why they've held off, not wanting to release one too early with the delayed release, but it really is crazy surprising to me that we haven't gotten a trailer by now, or even just a dang picture or still or clip, or ANYTHING!

I'm with you, I've been dying for a trailer or little piece of anything and been making the rounds on the internet checking everyday lol.

Please release something SONY!

Well, they plan on releasing the film in June or July,I think. So,about 6 months between a trailer and the film seems about right. Release a first trailer in late Dec. or in Jan.,then release a second one in say,April or May?

At this point I'm just hoping for a January release for the teaser trailer. Because my thing is, if we haven't heard anything about a teaser this month, then we're probably getting it in January.

Unless they ****ing pushed it back AGAIN.....

I wouldn't hold your breath. An R rated sequel to a family friendly film is unlikely and Avi Arad has stated he has no intention of making it so.
