Joke aside, I'd actually like it if they have the character return to Gotham after few years of absence. Though I always thought that "The Dark Knight Rises" made a homage to this with that whole Bruce and Selina going to Italy thing.

Perhaps I'm seeing something that isn't there... I did so just the other night, though not without help of some alcohol.

As for Miller, I've nothing against her as an actress and I think she'd be fine for this role, but it's quite interesting how unremarkable she is to me. I'm not saying that she is a bad actress, it's just that she never left any particular impression on me... she's just there.

No major loss. Given that this is a deeply established Batman years into his journey, and chances are his rogues gallery have been around for some time, it wouldn't be possible or likely that we get to see most of them or the ones that we expect. Perhaps later down the line.

The implication is that he informed her the character would not be making an appearance in his movie... not that he let her read the entire script.

Catwoman may not be in the Batman movie, but theres a 99.999% chance she'll be in the Birds of Prey/ Gotham Sirens movie. So I don't think we'll have to worry about not seeing her in a while.

I'm very excited for that movie. Batgirl, Huntress and Black Canary against Harley, Ivy and Selina. It's like a wet dream come to life.

If there's a good writer and director attached to it first, sure. Otherwise, my excitement over a Birds of Prey film could end up the same as when Suicide Squad came out.
