Paula Patton, as gorgeous as she is, isn't a very formidable actress. Or at least, I never saw her give a performance that vowed me, unlike Green, to mention your second choice, who did that on several occasions.

Another actress I'd consider is Alexa Davalos. She certainly has the look; and, going by her recent performance in The Man in the High Castle, I'd say she has the acting chops as well.

That and she basically already played Catwoman in Angel.

Affleck's playing a Batman in his 40s right? Selina Kyle is usually around the same age. Of course there's no reason because she's 30 she couldn't play older but she looks like she's in her 20s to me. I say go older and Carla Cugino would be perfect IMO. Plus I really want to see her in that outfit

Hathaway's Selina Kyle was about 10 years younger than Bale's Bruce Wayne.

I'd rather see an experienced actress, at least more than the one that was suggested. Mid 30's to mid 40's.

Y'all do realize that Catwoman is going to be cast for the Gotham City Sirens movie first and foremost, don't you? And any appearance in The Batman will be a glorified cameo at most. So it's obviously someone
that is going to be in Margot Robbie's age range and whether that age range is appropriate for Ben Affleck's Batman is of little importance. And it is going to be a movie that emphasizes all the characters' sexiness.
So I highly doubt they are going to cast some over the hill hag for the role.

And about Affleck having nothing to do with GCS; since some reports said that his being executive producer in JL was so he could overlook all things Batman, and if I recall correctly, he's part of the creative team overlooking the whole universe (Snyder, Johns, Berg, Terrio), I think he would most definitely have a say in any bat-characters that could potentially interact with Batman; this is just my assumption, of course.

I’d write them all off for being old.

Old names who’ve been discussed to death. Any interest I had in them years ago died at about the 7th or 8th year I’ve seen their name in relation to this part.

Whatever the age of our new Selina, I pray it’s a fresh name who can give a performance that hasn’t been seen or expected of them.
