The Dark Knight The Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne thread

This is just a random thought.....but I want to see an in TOP SHAPE Christian Bale in the 3rd film. More like how he was in Equilibrium and Reign of Fire where he was cut up and he had some mass.

I want to see a training and workout scene as well, to see how he stays in shape and prepares.

Those terrible campaign commercials?

....'I BELIEVE in Harvey Dent?'

Yeah, Nice Slogan, Harvey...

Bale nailed this role, in every way imaginable.

He owned in this movie. Though that scene does remind me of American Psycho, though. I half expected him to ask Harvey who's working on the Ficsher account.:oldrazz::brucebat:

Me too! :funny:

(The scene in the beginning when Batman was standing on the edge of the parking garage wall waiting for Scarecrow to come out on the bottom reminded me of American Psycho too!)

I love that you ciuld say he was Batman sometimes even when he wasn't in the outfit, like knocking out Harvey and saying "they're coming for him!" in his batman voice. The parade, and his detective work. Loved it.

 "After I kick Crane's ass, I need to return some videotapes."

Yeah. Even though Joker and 2face had some badass scenes, every scene with Bruce and Batman were my favs. Seeing him take down the SWAT team sent chills down my spine.:brucebat:Unfortunately, there are some who can't let people enjoy this movie as they want to.:csad:

:hehe::funny::lmao::lmao: The Joker would love Bateman as his side kick.

I thought some of the best acting was when he's pleading with Dent at the end and telling him he was the best of them which is why Joker targeted him.

Is it just me, or did the Russian girl that Bruce was with at the dinner with Rachel and Harvey seem like a Nolan-nod to the old 1960's 'Batman the movie'?

Kitanya Kirenia Kitania Kitkiska from the Moscow Bugle ring any bells? When Catwoman was the Commie news reporter?

Her accent was DEAD ON like hers.

Even rolled the R's with "Could Harvey Dent be the caped Crrrrusaderrr?"

Now that you mention it...

I loved all Bale scenes with Oldman, I'm really happy Nolan has really taken the time to explore the friendship between Batman & Gordon in these two film . This is something the previous franchise failed at .

Great observation. That movie was fun but so corny though. Wayne was drinking milk in a brandy glass at dinner with Miss Kitka and Alfred with the mask on driving the batmobile. HAHAHA

:lmao: That would be ****ing AWESOME.

Bateman: I need to engage in homicidal behaviour on a massive scale can not be corrected but, uh, I have no other way to fulfill my needs.

Joker: :wow: You complete me!

I know this is going against the grain here but Bale as Bruce Wayne still wasnt quite that great he looks better then any bruce cast so far but he seems so bland. as bateman bale could stand there brooding and you would be hypnotised by his intensity but in BB and even more so in TDK he is watered down to nothing he has no charisma plain and simple christopher reeve as superman that was charismatic,Hugh Jackman as Wolvie was charismatic bale as batman was servicible but hardly outstanding.
