The Dark Knight The Christian Bale/Bruce Wayne thread

I know this is going against the grain here but Bale as Bruce Wayne still wasnt quite that great he looks better then any bruce cast so far but he seems so bland. as bateman bale could stand there brooding and you would be hypnotised by his intensity but in BB and even more so in TDK he is watered down to nothing he has no charisma plain and simple christopher reeve as superman that was charismatic,Hugh Jackman as Wolvie was charismatic bale as batman was servicible but hardly outstanding.

I don't think he was bland. I mean, Bale is essentially playing three characters and it shows. Batman is different from Playboy Bruce who is different from the Bruce Alfred and Rachel see.

The character is beaten down in more ways than one. he played it very effectively imo.

Yeh that scene when Batman jumps off the wall onto Scarecrow's van in the car park was amazing.

After being thrown off the van, rather than chasing it, he just casually walks in the opposite direction, and then stands on the wall ready. The actual fall was unbelievable. I think it was that casualness that made that scene. Damn I love that guy .

Jackman really did a bad job in x-men 3 .

Its obvious how good the suit looked in the film My theory was before seeing the film:

They're going to hide the design of the suit MOSTLY in the shadows MOST of the time

I was completly right for the most part, we hardly got to see the ridiculous leg designs at all, which probably made a ton of the TDK suit haters very happy.

I had no doubts notwithstanding its messy, complex design. Its like the issue with the folds on the BB suit. Unless you are purposefully looking for it or pause the movie, its difficult to notice the folds on the BB suit b/c of the lighting, camera angles, editing, etc. I figured the same would be true of the DK suit and I was right.
