So after forgetting about this game, I finally picked it up for $10 in a Steam sale. I started playing Escape from Butcher Bay last night and it's awesome. It was late, so I basically only got through the first dream sequence and into my cell at the beginning, but I'm looking forward to playing more tonight.

Yea i picked it up over the summer, great game. I didnt expect Dark Athena to be as long as it was.

It seems to have a bit of survival horror-ness to it with the extremely limited health. I'm sure it'll cause me problems later on, but I think it's a cool mechanic right now.

Yea you do. You'll come into contact with these big Nano health stations and they give u, i think, three extra health boxes.

Cool. Whereabouts in Butcher Bay do you get the eyeshine? Like a quarter of the way through, halfway through, or what? I'm looking forward to that.

Yea its probably a qtr way through. Its not that far into the game. Basically once you get into the pit, at least i think thats what they call it, the eye shine isnt too far away.

Sweet, thanks. I'm definitely more into the stealth aspect than just wading into fights. But I haven't gotten many weapons yet, so that might change.
