I was watching the film on TNT today, and couldn't help thinking about the game for Xbox and how much I want to play it. But what really bugged me about the film was the ending. It just leaves it open for a sequel that we'll never get. So why not continue it on the Xbox360? The first game was a great success, so why not a sequel? Basically keep all ofthe gameplay elements, but add some new stuff as well. Possibly squad comands, since he is now Lord Marshall of the Necromongers, he's gonna have warriors to follow him.

But what should the story be about? Should Riddick lead his army across the galaxy? Should he fight a new threat with his army? Or should the Necromongers rebel against him, with Vaako leading the opposing side?

Has anyone heard news about a new game?

Well ill start by saying this: The Chronicles of Riddick is one BAD ASS game and one BAD ASS movie. As for another game, i dont know what id really want. I think what you suggested in that have him control like a squad thing could be cool, but iv always seen Riddick as this "lone wolf" type guy, so id rather its just be about him. Maybe have the game focus on him going on some type of revenge quest or somthing.

Riddick breaking out of prison is pretty much the most awesome thing of all time, so I don't know if they need to make another game.

He already got revenge. Unless he wants to completely wipe the Necromongers off the face of the galaxy, which would make for one sweet game, just trying to commit mass genocide against people that deserve it. It's evil, yet not evil at the same time.

What could happen is after the end of the film, he is challenged by Vaako. He defeats him, or you do, and the rest of the Necromongers attack. You fight your way out of the ship, and take the following Necros to the planet in Pitch Black. So in the first quarter of the game takes place there, where you have to fight the creatures and the Necros. The rest of the game involves you going around the galaxy, eliminating what's left of the Necros.

Another thing to keep it from being like the first games is to add powers.

Riddick was better in Pitch Black.

You know, before it was called "The Chronicles of Riddick: Pitch Black". That movie is the ****tttt

Hah, yea i agree, he was alot darker in Pitch Black. I LOVED the way his character was portrayed in the Xbox game.

Why the hell is there not another Riddick game in development??? WTF It baffles me when a great game like that is made they don't follow up on it.

I want to see his power grow, and then him having to decide whether to rule justly or wrongly. And in the game you can do both.

That's really not something that would be fitting to the Riddick game.

It would be if it was the continuation to a trilogy. Although it would work a lot better as a movie.

Riddick was at his best in the game, even including Pitch Black. I'd much rather StarBreeze be the only entity to work on Riddick from here out.

Interesting... To coalesce some ideas:

For Xbox360:
The Chronicles of Riddick: Underverse Come

The game starts out EXACTLY where the movie ended, Riddick on the throne with some background narration for the forgetful. Now Lord Marshall of the Necromongers, who orders them to depart, and brings them back to M6-117 (Pitch Black) to get "some real killers." After an initial tutorial stage 'exploring the planet' with Riddick and some Necromonger soldiers, the Lord Marshall gets betrayed and left for dead by Dame Vaako... who returns to her people "Lady Marshall," and sets off on her galaxy-spanning madhouse.

Act I: Riddick escapes Pitch Black AGAIN with some old equipment, a distress signal and an off course cargo-ship. Makes it to the Necromonger's next destination and manages to desetroy an entire ship from taking out soldiers at its docking point to battling his way upwards and self-destructing it on the inside.

Act II: Escaping, Riddick happens upon the eradicated remains of the planet Furia, exploring his past and basically explaing all of that and the Furian pioneers of Necromongering... Riddick gets himself caught and sent to jail where he recruits a large group of dangerous prisoners on the grounds that the Necromongers destroyed their home planets, or that theirs were next. They stage a massive desperate jailbreak.

Act III: With the Necromongers fanning out, nearly having discovered the Underverse, Riddick and the ex-prisoners execute all manner of kick-tail on the five fleets, finally rallying on the Flagship Fleet, and giving Riddick a few good fights before he and the Lady Marshall cross into the Underverse, giving Riddick unbelievable power, giving Dame Vaako a horribly supernaturally painful death and finally ushering Riddick into the company of the Elementals, as a black-clad "death god," which he will serve until he is killed, an event which is not likely at this point. Ever.

That's my story idea... let Imam's mother and daughter be supporting cast in a way, give us a cool prisoner squad (Some of whom may have already appeared in the series), and some great badass moves... and TONS of them... and call it a day.

I don't think it should pick up after "The Chronicles of Riddick" because that's basically the end to Riddick's adventures.

no, it's not. It's the natural progression of his arc. Act I (Pitch Black) He is the underdog, a prisoner, and we get to know that he's a bad person with a decent side to him. Act II (Chronicles) he finally is free, and ends up saving the world. Act III We see what he does once he actually has power. It's a typical story arc.
