The Cloverfield Paradox

Reading the plot I can guarantee that Earth hasn't vanished but they've been transported to a different dimension or plane of existence

The cast and plot are giving me some "Sunshine" vibes and I like that.

God i love the idea of an anthology film series set in the same universe, and i love both Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane. Glad that this plan is moving forward.

My thoughts exactly

THR:
Paramount Dates 'Cloverfield' Imax Film, Removes J.J. Abrams' 'God Particle' From Schedule
The move implies that 'God Particle' is actually the next film in the 'Cloverfield' series.
Ashley Lee said:
Paramount will wide release a new Cloverfield film in Imax on Oct. 27, the studio announced Thursday.

Interestingly enough, God Particle — another film from J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions, which was previously set for a Feb. 24 release — was removed from the release schedule.

The switch implies that God Particle is, in fact, the next title of the Cloverfield-connected universe. The same was done when the studio dated 2016's 10 Cloverfield Lane. Paramount did not respond to a request for comment on whether it's true this time as well.

God Particle (or the new Cloverfield film?) stars David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O’Dowd, Daniel Bruhl, Zhang Ziyi and Elizabeth Debicki as crewmembers aboard a space station who find themselves alone after a scientific experiment causes Earth to disappear. When a space shuttle appears, the space station crew must determine if those aboard are friend or foe. Julius Onah is directing the movie.

The new Cloverfield entry will open against Lionsgate's latest Saw installment.

I hope the Cloverfield "connection" isn't as clumsy as the 10 Cloverfield Lane ending

I needed a poster for my top10 list of must see movies in 2017
But since there isn't an official poster yet, I made this one

I'm glad the movie got pushed back. The post-production for this would've been tight, with no room for reshoots or pick-ups, if it stayed on its Feb release date.

I think this audio transmission that was part of the 10 Cloverfield Lane marketing is our connection to God Particle:

Trailer will be attached to Transformers:The Last Knight

10CL turned out to be a sneakily great movie IMO so I'll definitely be there for this one.

I wonder how LIFE's reception will affect this.

^ I thoroughly enjoyed 10CL, too, probably more than the original, which is also a good watch.

Big fan of this universe, love both Cloverfield and 10. Looking forward to see what this one brings to the table.

Was wondering if Overlord was eventually going to be a part of the Cloververse.

Any ideas when we might get the trailer for 'God Particle'?

Would make sense. I remember when that kickass Cloverfield teaser premiered with the first one back in '07.

Moved to Feb 2nd, 2018

Having Cloverfield go head-to-head with Jigsaw was out of the question as it would cannibalize the genre audience. On February 2, the untitled Cloverfield pic is the big monster of the box office at this point in time, facing zero wide competition.

Aww, man. Hoping we get a trailer before the end of the year, at least.

A movie I haven't seen even a teaser for won't come out soon?

I'm.... shocked.

Really? Another freaking delay? :whatever:

Saw the thread bump and was hoping for concrete news, an official pic or maybe a teaser announcement. But nope, another delay. Joy.
