The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Connection Between the Chamber of 6, Fedora Guy and The Vulture/Doc Ock Harnesses

So how many of you guys Belevie the reddit spoiles about the post credit scene to be true?

No, I don't think TMITS is Norman. Just because the line plays over him in the trailer doesn't mean it's him. In one of the previous trailers that line is said over Rhino's foot stomping, but it's certainly not Paul Giamatti saying it.

I don't think TMITS is in it beyond the post credits scene. Maybe he'll have one or two brief scenes, but that's it.

Didn't I already prove that that scene is NOT from post credits? Let me explain it again...

First we have this shot of Harry in the main chamber of what I like to call "the Chamber of the future":

Please note the cut under his eye and the fact that he has not yet been Goblinized. He is watching someone (TMITS) coming down the elevator:

You can even see the guy's shoulder in the elevator. This guy comes in and open the chamber doors:

This reveals:

Which is the scene with TMITS. This is also, from the earlier trailer, when TMITS responds to Harry's question of "what is all of this" with "the future"!

So, since Harry is not yet the Goblin, and he has the cut under his eye, this scene is inbetween the scene where Harry helps to amp up Electro:

And when Harry undergoes the process of becoming the Goblin:

So the scene with TMITS cannot be a post-cedits scene?

Does anyone disagree?

You didn't prove anything. You speculated. That's not a bad thing, but don't pretend that what you propose is conclusively the way it plays out. A similar set (or even the exact same one) can be used for multiple separate scenes or sequences of scenes. And even if it wasn't the post credits scene, it doesn't mean it's connected the way you propose or that Norman is TMITS or that TMITS interacts with any of the other characters. Trailers are edited differently from the films they advertise. They don't necessarily show scenes that are connected.

I don't think Harry is looking at TMITS coming down on the elevator. He's probably looking up at Electro as seen in other photos from the movie.

That's what I think too. The blue lights on the right side of the shot certainly look like it. But idk.

^ But the point is that the scene with TMITS is from before Harry undergoes the Goblin process. And since he is in the final battle at the end of the movie it means that this scene with TMITS is NOT post-credits.

Am I missing something, or do you understand why that is proving that that scene is not post-credits?

But that's NOT proving anything. How did you prove that Harry and TMITS interact? You didn't. You speculated about some shots that you thought could link up. Those shots can be interpreted differently, though. There's no conclusive evidence here to show that when Harry is in the multi-chambered area that TMITS is also there.

I love your speculations, Super Jim, but to say you have "proven" something is a bit of a stretch.

where are these reddit spoilers?

Yeah, same. Some details seem to be true, others… not so much (e.g. BJ Novak's character).

perhaps bj novak wasn't seen that much, or even mentioned in the rough cut. he could be just assuming .

The reddit guy said he was playing Donald Menken, who is actually being played by Colm Feore. His character is even mentioned on the official website, so I'm assuming it wasn't just an "honest mistake" on the reddit guy's part.

The guy on Reddit never saw the movie, he's saying things based on what he heard.

It looks like a light burn to me in the shot where Harry is screaming. Harry could have gotten burned after Electro gets amped.

Maybe Electro turns on Harry? There's that one shot of him on the ground while Electro is in his pure electric form. It's a little difficult to piece together.

I feel like Electro is going to attack Harry, but then Harry makes a deal with him (whatever that may be) to save his own life and use Electro to his benefit.

That makes sense.

Electro: You want to know what I can do, Doc? Well so do I. *unleashes massive amounts of energy*

Harry: *on the ground, gets back up after being wounded* Let's help eachother out here. Help me catch Spider-man and I promise you'll never be invisible again.

Electro: Let's go catch a Spider

Very rough, but I could see it working out in a similar way.

Haha yeah, it wouldn't happen exactly like that of course, but I can definitely see it going in that direction.
