Superman Returns The Crystals

First of all, how can the crystal that Lex used(the father crystal) make a huge continent, yet when CK used it, it was only a few miles long? Was it because the greenk was mixed with it? Or because a human touched it? You also can't grow anything on it, so why would anyone pay for the land? Also, were those crystals from the FOS as well, or just other ones. Does Supes have his father crystal back, or not? You would also think that the greenk would screw up the crystal in some way.

those were his continent building crystals, maybe? I don't know, the plan wasn't too smart since A bunch of green krypto-rock can't sustain any human life.

Exactly. Proving Braun over brians always wins. I still want 2 know why his continet would not stop growing, yet Clarks stopped at a few miles, and Lex's was what, already that size and still gorwing? I wonder if maybe he thought that each crystal would make a FOS, so that only a few people would have a continet, and the rest of the human race would live under that rule or something. Who knows, he could have made 3 or 4 continents. Why doesn't Supes do that(safe way of course) so that people wouldn't have land problems, we'd have an 8th continent.
