You mean the one's that have a top rated show on a poor man's ABC? The creator's of a show that probably doesn't even crack the Top 50? Are you actually trying to compare SV to the likes of other Thursday night shows Without a Trace, CSI, Survivor, and ER? How many viewers does SV bring in again? $6 million tops? If that's the case, SV is below Alias, which drew $6.6m viewers and placed 66th. Great job........

Let's not even discuss the grown-up awards called The Emmy's........

Mercy Reef is now their "past work", isn't it? It was indeed filmed, wasn't it?

Cupcake. :D

That was funny, I admit.

Look people, I like SV and I watch the show. I just like a good discussion, and Hulk brings out a good discussion all the time as well as Pat and several other people in here. It's a shame certain folks have to put me on ignore because they can't stand to read anything slightly negative about their show (to those people, if you can read this - are you under 10 years old by the way?). It has nothing to do with hating TW, SV, the new network, etc, etc.

Thanks - I'll take that as a compliment. I hope you know I'm having fun here and I'm not even close to being serious in any way, shape, or form.......

Anyway, imagine all the money they wasted on this pilot when they couldve used it on, I dont know making a better Season Finale for Smallville, HI-YO!

Or maybe they could have used that cash for a certain red & blue suit - I heard they're expensive.......:)

Was the pilot even filmed? I don't remember reading anything to that effect.

I think it was a lousy concept, anyways. Gough and Millar would do a "Smallville" for every DC character if they could. No problem in making a buck, but they should just stick with what has done em well for 6 years strong now.

It'd be nice if they got a bit more involved with the writing on SV again. Lord knows it could use it.

I thought there were some promo pics or on set pics floating around the net.

I thought I heard Lou Diamond Phillips saying they "nailed" it, and it was indeed filmed. I could be wrong, but I really thought they had the pilot in the can....

Well just say one good or positive thing about the show and we might have a change of heart about you. :)

I always do, or at least I thought I did........

If not, the cast is indeed good, it's not their fault the writing has lacked lately.........

7 mil is alot to throw down the drain.....itll come out some how....maybe as a made-for-tv movie during garbage time...or a dvd release......or a bonus dvd with SV season 5....we'll see it again - for the first time.

7 mil is a drop in the bucket.

Why are you in a Smallville thread and bashing it?

Does Lou Diamond Phillips actually have any cultural stock these days??

;)

I stand corrected, the pilot was filmed.

7 Million? No offense to Aquaman fans, but he doesn't merit that kind of dough for a pilot....basically, only Superman and Batman can for a weekly show and get away with it.

To think what Smallville could have done with that money in their budget this year....

I mean the one that normally ranks in the top 3 in it's targeted 18-34 yr old male demo, the "money demo" as it's known in Hollywood.... And now apparently you're going to blame them for things the producers of the show cant control, like the Network it's on and the Emmy awards???.. now you've just gotten desperate.... Perhaps you'd like to blame them for the failure of some of the other shows on the Network while you're at it? I heard Millar once watched an episdoe of "The Mountain," I'm sure that had something to do with it's downfall....

Actually I heard it was pretty damn good. Now I'm curious to see it. :(

What the hell are you doing with a TW avvy?

I think it's his attempt at passive aggressive "humor", one would think he'd be touting Cupcake instead, but you know how that goes.....
