The CW up for sale?

Well they should rename the network to something else. Its like CW in name only by now with all these cancelations.

They canceled Gotham Knights and gave Superman and Lois a smaller, shorter budgeted fourth season. It's not looking good for the future of the network. Soon it will lose all vestiages of what it used to be.

It’s pretty much going the way of what happened to UPN 20 in Houston where I live, when all of the popular shows transferred over to the CW and channel 20 just became a regular, generic network called My 20 that aired unscripted television and reruns of old syndicated shows. Only now, instead of going over to another channel, pretty much all of the shows that were popular on the CW have either stopped or have been canceled. So, any vestiges of what made the CW and Paramount what it is we will eventually be completely dead and gone.

I predict that a lot of analog TV is just going to become this, where all of the channels just air scripted television and old programming, and pretty much everything just goes to various streaming channels that you have to pay for. Basically, the new cable. It all comes back around.

It very much is not unscripted though.

i will however, say that it makes CBS look youth oriented.

They will have scripted shows but they will be cheap and owned by them. They will have comedies and the occasional drama. But they arent looking to have the traditional slate of shows like the big networks.

Save yourself, David Thewlis. I can't imagine what kind of numbers the CW gets these days. More so once Superman and Lois ends and all of the remaining superhero viewers flee with the last of the DC shows bowing out.

But I guess the Sherlock on TV niche needs to be filled since Elementary ended?
