The CW up for sale?

At least they are given enough heads up to craft a series finale instead of just dropping it on another cliffhanger for the viewers and the cast and crew.

Nancy Drew, Riverdale and The Hardy Boys are all getting one last season.

Yeah, grateful for that at least.

New owners usually like to clean house and put their own scent all over it.

They might as well change the network name to something else, X-tar.

Superman & Lois will be soon. :ninja:

Nah, I called Independence not being picked up on the S&L board already - it’s one of their lowest rated in the demo, while S&L and All-American are their top ones. Winchesters is borderline, but a worse performer than S&L in both demo and total viewers. And honestly, if it doesn’t get picked up, that increases S&L’s chances because it’s been reported they’re picking up “fewer than 5” shows. If S&L doesn’t make the cut and anything other than Walker and All-American does, it would be rather shocking.

Well, that is really, really gross.

Just a reminder, that is the Saudi backed golf tournament that is trying to make inroads into the international community by tossing $$$$$ around.

I think Superman & Lois, All American and Walker are their biggest remaining homegrown scripted shows. If they cancel those three then their viewership will probably crater.

Thus far their sports haven't done anything for ratings.

Them picking up FBoy Island from Max is an interesting move

Who would have imagined that the controversial golf start up wouldn't be a big hit off the bat.

Man, looking at the various commercials for the new CW's shows, and boy, it sure makes CBS feel youth targeted....

They canceled Gotham Knights and gave Superman and Lois a smaller, shorter budgeted fourth season. It's not looking good for the future of the network. Soon it will lose all vestiages of what it used to be.

I mean, yeah? Have you seen their new show slate?

I know but it's still sad they are going to turn it into another generic "unscripted" channel full of boring crap that no one wants to watch even less of.

It very much is not unscripted though.

i will however, say that it makes CBS look youth oriented.
