it was the prototype? pic of that bruce wayne coupe for TDK line. comes with a bruce wayne and batman i guess. maybe the mods took it down, since they took down most of the other figure pics as well. i can PM it to you if ya want.

And yet I have the higher post count. Not sure how it works in your obsolete monarchy, but here its MAJORITY RULES .

The pictures for the movie figures I've seen so far, well they look disappointing and nowhere near the greatness of the 4 Horsemen and their excellent work on the DC Universe figs which totally trumps Marvel Legends and DCD.

The Horsemen get it. I mean I like a lot of DCD, but they bog things down a lot, and at times unaffordable. DCU line gives us premium quality figures, the definitive versions at affordable prices.

hey quick question. i went into TRU thew other day and i saw that they have new DC Superheroes figure but in new packaging, and its called the "classics" line. it features a retro batman, the penguin, and a few other DC ppl i dont know, that combine ML style to create atom man. is this like the NEW version of DC superheroes or is this just another line alotgether? cuz i saw that penguin and i really would love to add him to my DC rogues gallery.

Yes. And it's NOT Atom Man, its Metamorpho . . . unless I'm mixing them up. I remember a Metamorpho lookalike in Outsiders.

The problem I have, is that I've bought a whole bunch of DC Direct figures, which are in a different scale from the DCU line. And I'm loathe to re-buy smaller versions of characters I already have, or to start buying figures that are a different size from the ones I have, and will look funny displayed with them.

But I will be getting the "Dark Knight" deluxe line, which is being done by the 4 Horsemen. I think the Batman figure looks pretty cool, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they present the villains.

we're not getting it. Mattel decided to release it as an exclusive at the San Diego Comic Con last year. If you want to pay the money, you can pay the aftermarket price on ebay for it.

Where are the pics of the Deluxe line?

Is the 4 Horsemen deluxe Batman that super detailed one that didn't have the articulation put in yet?

Keyser Soze, I'm not a hardcore collector. I only get the ones that I like. So I'm not going to re-buy every character. But the 4 Horsemen figures and the DCU line is a dream come true. And its amazing to me how superior these already are to DCD. I think DCD tries way too hard.

Hard for me to believe 4 Horseman did those. I have to say that likeness of Christian Bale on the head sculpt is terrible. I don't see Bale in there at all.

i think the batman looks great, its just that cape in the back, looks stupid. it doesnt have the bat ridges, and its too short. wtf? but the bale likeness is really good though.

i dunno, to me it just looks like him, i can tell right away. in fact, the best likness of bale in a mass produced figure is porbably the san diego comic con figure, the pre-batsuit bruce wayne.

I know. I really dont understand why so many defend Mattel as a toy company, they have such a history of poor marketing. I think its really stupid to do a line that cant be completed by everyone. If you do an exclusive, make it a variant of some sort. Dont do a unique character thats meant to be a component of an existing line. This is only one of the reasons I stopped getting this line.

well, the rumor was...yes. at the U.K. toyfair..they pulled some of them...and said they were going to show at the U.S. one. HOWEVER...this was before Heath went bye bye...so i dont think anyone is sure anymore....sigh...
