Yeah, his whole face is "messy Joker" and I based it off of the new trailer for the most part. It was hard to do a wash over his eyes and not cover them completely. I went back after a few people said it was "to much" and changed them up a bit. After letting it set for a while I decided that the way I did it originally...I liked more, a lot more.

So...I painted it again, this time using a pin.

Yeah, I am. It's making me want to strangle strangers. Does anyone from San Diego, or anywhere I guess, know where I can pick these up besides Wal-Mart? I managed to get a goon this afternoon then went hunting through just about every Wal-Mart and other stores that I though might have it. I wasn't surprised that I didn't find Mr.J in a box on the shelf but it was frustrating.

I thankfully snagged the last Joker at my local Walmart about 10 am on the 5th, and I haven't seen another one anywhere since.

Why do they make these figures so difficult to find? I mean, I'm trying to rationalize the toy company's intentions. They don't directly gain anything from making figures rare, right? The only people that make money off it are re-sellers, ebay-ers who snatch them up and jack up the price.

The company would make a ton more money by just producing more Jokers, so that everyone who wanted one could buy one.

I picked up Batman and the Gotham Thug today from Wal-Mart.

Like everyone else...I couldn't find a Joker.



But don't worry...the search has just begun.

$11.74?? These Movie Masters cost $11.74...at Wal-Mart? Damn!! Even with the little evidence bag items that is an uncomfortable jump in price. I came across a bunch of Batmen, two Thugs, and about four Jokers at a local Wal-Mart. Since reading about Hot Toys acquiring TDK licence I had planned on waiting for their version of Joker, but I broke down and picked up one of these anyway for my work desk.

It's still too expensive but not a bad looking figure, kind of in the middle between the best and worst pics of it I've seen online. I like the knife they included with the figure and the Joker card is the best of all the evidence bag extras. I didn't see a maskless chase Batman but this particular Wal-Mart, even though it's a brand new super Wal-Mart, has usually sucked in its toy department. I was pretty surprised to see so many of these figures on the shelf.

I picked up the last Movie Masters Joker on the 3rd at Toys R' Us and its been difficult getting another one. I've been calling Toys R' Us everyday to see if they have it.

Most likely. The cost of the 27x40 double-sided WSS poster where he's spelling it out and his face is foggy went up to a ridiculous price after Ledger died. Guess i'll have to settle for my Gotham Thug for now.

Devotees of the comic book series lined up early to clear shelves of the $9.99 toy, which shows Ledger in his final completed role before his premature death in January from an accidental drug overdose, aged just 29. An employee of Times Square's Toys R Us store says, "There are none left in the warehouse. You will be waiting a while if you want one." Agreed. I wouldn't even pay thirty for one; maybe I would if the design was better. I might just save my money and buy the bust and statues I saw on DC Direct.

Hmm..I thought I counted four. So, no I don't know how many there are. Does anyone else think it would've been a better idea to make different Thug figures instead of having just the same one come with a different mask?

i agree it would have been more interesting to have the four goons instead of just the one with the variant masks in the packaging. I happened to pick up two of them but they have the same mask in the back that they are wearing. I didn't even know about the variants until my friend sent me a pic of his with a different one.

I just keep hearing rumors about this goon with "Rainbow hair" and I haven't seen anything concrete or official with it. Anybody have any info?
