That's what I am here for. (CC shoots his grappling hook into the sky and flies off into the night)

When the Joker says "You let 5 people die" to Batman...what 5 is he talking about?

When the Joker says "You let 5 people die" to Batman...what 5 is he talking about?

He's talking about Judge Surrillo, Comis Loeb, Brian Douglass (fake batman), Patrick Harvey, and Richard Dent (the two cops).

After the bomb goes off that the Joker put in his goon at the police headquarters, where do all the cops go that were surrounding the Joker? Did they blow up? Why wouldn't the Joker blow up too???

And who is driving the car that he is sticking his head out of? And it looks like there are cops chasing him.

Whats all that about?

Another thing i'm not clear on is what were Bruce and Fox talking about after they found the fingerprint? Some kind of government project? Wha?

that was the sonar thing bruce was working on. he said it was to do with the government to cover it up, he said he was playing it clost to his chest.

I've seen the movie three times and I still don't understand this. When Joker threatened to bomb a hospital, why Bruce asked Alfred to check for Gordon's cops with relatives in a hospital? Why did he think those with relatives in hospital were dirty cops? Because it gave them a chance to plant the bomb?

1. How did Batman find Harvey while he was privately interrogating the crazy guy in a police uniform?
I wonder if Batman was already using the sonar surveillance by then? Dent did make a phone call to Rachel before he started threatening that guy.

It was in regards to Joker's challenge to the people of Gotham to kill Reece. Wayne knew Gordon had several potentially corrupt cops working for him and wanted to find which cops had family members in a hospital. If a potentially dirty cop wanted to save that family member he/she might be tempted to kill Reece (and would have a better opportunity to do so). That's why Gordon confronted that young cop in the police car.

Those would be the people that could get close enough to Reese, to kill him.

What song was used in the Dark Knight, when Batman goes to that one night club
where Salvatore Maroni is at and he beats everyone up on the rails?
It was like a techno song, could someone please tell me?

thanks =)

Here is a true plothole! When Joker is arrested and sitting in the cell, he isn't wearing his coat. The cops probably had it stored somewhere. Joker escapes shortly after in the police car, and still doesn't have his coat. Yet the next time we see him, he has it. Did he grab it from the police station off camera? Or does he have 10 of them in a closet at home? :cwink:
These so-called plot-holes grew old so fast... People, stop. Like, hey in the first shot of the hospital exploding, you see there are 34449 pieces of wall flying in the air, yet in the aerial take there are only 34446.. I mean come on! I hope someone got fired because of that!

:hehe:

I remember before the movie came out, a user on here Crook, pointed out in the bank heist scene that the Joker gives the bank guy the middle finger before he drove off.
I hate to bring this up, but after rewinding the clip (I have the movie.. sorry I can't give you a link on here but look it up on youtube on your free will) and I see his fist go up and then what looks like a finger (the middle). You have to look closely because it's like a second, it's right before the thing in the guy's mouth goes off.
Lol Crook I completely agree with you.

Anyone feel the same?

Oh and I think the reason he does that in the front of the bus where it's hard to see and if you don't pay attention you'll miss it because so it's discrete like for example (from the top of my head) in Men in Black J gives him the finger while he scratches his chin which isn't edited out when it plays on TV, maybe the same when TDK will be played on FX (yeah you have to wait a long time before that happens).

Anyone know:word:

I wonder if Batman was already using the sonar surveillance by then? Dent did make a phone call to Rachel before he started threatening that guy.

Earlier in the film Batman is on top of the Sears Tower (probably to get really good reception) and is using radio signals captured from his earpiece to listen in on police chatter. This is how he found out about the dead guys with Harvey and Dent as their last names (from an anonymous caller phoning the cops, presumabely the Joker). I guess its within bounds to presume that Batman used the same device to overhear that the ambulance with the goon went missing, ambulances usually have GPS trackers and the information of where it is likely went out on the police radio.

Almost right, Joker's idea was to turn perfectly normal citizens and cops into murderers. He wanted to show that even a cop (dirty or not!) would kill if he could save a relative with it.

I'm still trying to figure out who Gordon ment with 5 killed 2 cops ate the end of the movie. Killed either by Two-Face or Batman as a scape goat.

I think the 5 dead, 2 cops...must include Dent, because Dent worked in Internal Affairs--and Batman is taking the wrap for his death as well.

So the two cops: Wuertz and Dent, along with Maroni, Maroni's driver, and Maroni's goon (pulled off screen for a split second before Dent gets in his place in the car).

I think it's safe to assume that the cops the Joker killed in the hospital are assumed at the time Gordon says the line to have died in the explosion.

i think hes talking about the cops in the chase sequence.

That, and the two that the joker got.

He said every day, someone will die.

Brian Douglass died.
The Judge Died.
Comm. Loeb died.
Rachel died.

and i don't remember the last one. Unless he was for some reason counting Gordon.

Don't count Brian Douglass; Joker didn't demand Batman take off his mask until AFTER Douglass died.

#1 Surillo

#2 Loeb

#3 Cop Patrick Harvey

#4 Richard Dent

#5 Gordon; i know Gordon didn't die; but, in the sense he did let Gordon get shot.
