I do agree that namor never gets all his powers anymore. He used to directly control any marine life, duplicate the abilities of many different species along with his current superpowers. In that state Namor would crush AQ. Without it, it's a good match but I still think Namor would win in the end. Just too ruthless and vicious.

I think even with all of Namor's powers being used, Aquaman would still beat him. Too many people hold the fact that he's Aquaman against him.

I just read that sentence, and now I'm high. I didn't know words could do that but saying "Too many people hold the fact that he's Aquaman against him" as a reason he should win? That's just mind numbing.

there is a ***** fight i would pay to see. double that up with a jarvis/alfred showdown and im there for 3.99

anyways i would love to see an iron fist v. batman. i think you could do a kickass martial arts fight scene between those two.

steel vs. iron man. thats a cool fight of tech geniuses.

i know this is kinda weird cause its villains but i'd love to see a lex luthor v. doctor doom. that could be sick if they did it right.

finally id love to see two of my favorite villians duke it out with an apocalypse/darkseid showdown. talk about a battle of the titans, that would be friggin sweet.

I still blame Super-Friends. I think it's the single most damaging thing to happen to Aquaman. Throw all the cool moments you want into the comics; after Super-Friends, everyone will always remember Aquaman as that idiot who just talked to fish.

they did a good job with him on the JLA toon though.

Yeah, although that one was steeped a little too much into the angry sea king personality that Peter David grafted onto him. I like the happy medium they achieved in his last series--he was at peace with himself and had forgiven himself for some of his failures, like the loss of his son, but he would still fiercely defend those he'd taken under his protection, as we saw with Sub Diego.

Apocalypse has trouble handling a bunch of middlingly powerful mutants. Heck most of his power isn't even properly his so much as it's derived from the Celestials. A decently written Darkseid* would eat him alive, and I mean that as quite probably literal.

*Not that this is ever a given, mind.

No, it's a reason to not count him out as a pushover. Once you get past that, it's his power, skill and tenacity that would get him to win.
