You know I never really got this. Its not like Marvel trying to make a Fantastic Four movie, since their rights are owned by Fox. What did Warner Brothers sell WW rights to some other company???

What took you so long to get into that amazing show? Trust me, it will be hard to top but I must say the Avengers:ETH has an outside chance....

Well that sucks. No Aquaman, no sequels just expect Batman, Superman or Justice League from here on out.

Eh, Wonder Woman was decent and First Flight was mediocre, so I'm not too broken up about their not getting sequels. It does suck that Wonder Woman's sales somehow merit a moritorium on all female-based franchises, though. Brilliant logic that only a suit could come up with.

from a non fan business standpoint it does...if you're not getting the revenue expected off a "big name" character like Wonder Woman, how do you think a lesser known female character is going to perform??

Batgirl: Year One was canceled because of Wonder Woman. From a business perspective, history seems to show that anything with the word "bat" in the title has a greater chance of success than any other franchise DC has. Yet now it's canceled because Wonder Woman, whose star has faded among the general audience to all but the faintest ember since the '70s, didn't perform well within its first couple weeks. That doesn't make sense to me from any perspective.

I love the Timmverse about as much as anyone around here but given time, another team will come along and rival the success of that run if not surpass it. I'm hoping that it'll be hand-drawn 2-D as well.

That doesn't mean that it won't lose its intrinsic value with fans though. JLU's awesome.

if people don't buy them, it's tough to sell something lesser known

To line up with the live action movie, there's going to be a CGI cartoon series.

I guess what im asking for is the PTB just understand that these movie are for the fans and that you cant get big numbers if you do not cater just a little bi tto us, we are the ones buying it and will buy more if you give us a tad more. The money they invest will be hardly a fraction of what you give the Big Budget actioners like TDK and such. In return though they will have a constant audience alwasy willing to buy the next product on presidence therefore allowing constant streams of revenue. I have skipped buying Crisis and PE because well they arent that amazing and GL burned me bad. I just wish we had a more willing member of the PTB thatw ould take these points into account.
